A partir do referencial da aprendizagem social como uma prática cultural, procedeu-se a uma análise para categorizar e compreender os tipos de mensagens e suas relações com a cultura dos fóruns e o desenvolvimento de novos conhecimentos. Para a codificação, foram utilizados três sistemas de classificação que resultaram em duas tipologias: mensagens típicas de fóruns, nem sempre associadas às temáticas, contendo piadas e memes, alinhadas a características do Reddit. E mensagens mais densas, relacionadas às temáticas, contendo trocas de informações e debates. A análise demonstrou um imbricamento entre a expansão de conhecimentos sobre temas abordados e o desenvolvimento de laços sociais típicos dos fóruns da internet, indicando a ocorrência da aprendizagem social.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The study investigated the practices of users of internet forums on the Reddit platform in order to understand the nature of the interactions carried out through the exchange of messages. Based on the theoretical framework of online social learning as a cultural practice, an analysis was carried out to categorize and understand the types of messages and their relationship with the forum's culture and the development of new knowledge. For coding, three classification systems were used, which resulted in two typologies: the first included typical forum messages, not always directly associated with the themes, containing jokes, ironies, memes, aligned with Reddit characteristics. The second gathered denser messages, related to the themes, containing exchanges of information and debates. The analysis showed an intertwining between the expansion of knowledge about themes and sub-themes addressed and the development of social bonds typical of the context of internet forums, indicating the occurrence of social learning.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El estudio investigó las prácticas de los usuarios de foros de Internet en la plataforma Reddit con el fin de comprender la naturaleza de las interacciones que se llevan a cabo a través del intercambio de mensajes. Partiendo del marco teórico del aprendizaje social en línea como práctica cultural, se realizó un análisis para categorizar y comprender los tipos de mensajes y su relación con la cultura de los foros y el desarrollo de nuevos conocimientos. Para la codificación se utilizaron tres sistemas de clasificación, que resultaron en dos tipos: el primero incluía mensajes típicos del foro, no siempre directamente asociados a los temas, que contenían chistes, ironías, memes, alineados con características de Reddit. El segundo recogió mensajes más densos, relacionados con los temas, que contenían intercambios de información y debates. El análisis mostró un entrelazamiento entre la expansión del conocimiento sobre los temas y subtemas abordados y el desarrollo de lazos sociales propios del contexto de los foros de internet, indicando la ocurrencia del aprendizaje social.]]></p></abstract>
