Apresenta-se, neste artigo, o resultado de pesquisa que investigou sob quais orientações teóricas o ensino de TIC têm sido previsto em cursos de Licenciatura em Ciências Sociais. Para isso, foram desenvolvidas pesquisas bibliográfica e documental, sendo esta última focada no currículo de três Projetos Pedagógicos de Curso (PPC) da referida Licenciatura. Com base no materialismo histórico-dialético e, principalmente, em Feenberg (2003), observou-se que há discursos de orientação crítica ao longo dos PPC, mas, quando há previsão de disciplinas sobre TIC, suas ementas e objetivos fomentam um ensino instrumental.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The current curriculum document for Brazilian Basic Education, the National Common Curricular Base, recommends integrating Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in a cross-cutting manner. This recommendation implies that teachers from various subject areas should have significant knowledge of ICT. This article presents the results of a study investigating the theoretical foundations underlying the incorporation of ICT into the education of Social Sciences teachers. Thus, a literature review and documentary research were conducted, focusing on the Pedagogical Programs curricula (PPC - in the original acronym) from the teacher education course mentioned above. Using the historical-dialectical materialism method and, primarily, Feenberg (2003), it was observed that there are critical-oriented discourses embedded within the curricula. However, in cases where ICT subjects are included, their descriptions and objectives tend to promote an instrumental approach to teaching.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En el documento del currículo de la educación básica en Brasil, la Base Curricular Común Nacional, se recomienda de manera transversal las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC), lo que implica su conocimiento por parte de docentes de diferentes áreas. Este artículo presenta el resultado de una investigación que tuvo como objetivo indagar bajo qué lineamientos teóricos se ha planificado la enseñanza de las TIC en los cursos de la Licenciatura en Ciencias Sociales. Para eso se realizó investigación bibliográfica y documental, esta última enfocada en el plan de estudios de tres Proyectos Pedagógicos de Curso de la Licenciatura antes mencionada. Con base en el materialismo histórico-dialéctico y en Feenberg (2003), se observó que existen discursos de orientación crítica en los planos, pero, cuando existen disciplinas sobre TIC, sus programas favorecen la enseñanza instrumental.]]></p></abstract>
