Neste trabalho analisamos o potencial de um projeto de formação continuada desenvolvido no ambiente de trabalho dos participantes, em uma parceria entre professores do campo da Química e do campo da Educação Química. Nesse projeto os professores entraram em contato com estudos do campo da Educação e planejaram aulas a partir desses estudos, desenvolvendo-as em suas próprias turmas. Como resultado os participantes destacaram a boa receptividade e a participação ativa dos estudantes e identificaram fatores que auxiliaram no processo de aprendizagem. Com isso, argumentamos que a aproximação mais direta entre a teoria e a prática se deu pela parceria entre Químicos e Educadores Químicos e pela formação no ambiente de trabalho dos docentes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Higher Education professors who work with specific knowledge of the Natural Sciences have little access to theories and knowledge related to didactics, which has led to greater attention being paid to continuing education. Thus, in this work, the potential of a continuing education project developed in the participants&#8217; work environment is analyzed, in a partnership between professors from the field of Chemistry and the field of Chemical Education. In this project, professors came into contact with studies in the field of Education and planned lessons based on these studies, developing them in their own classes. As a result, participants highlighted students&#8217; good receptivity and active participation and identified factors that helped in the learning process. With that, it is argued that the most direct connection between theory and practice occurred through the partnership between Chemists and Chemistry Educators and through the training in the professors&#8217; work environment.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El profesor de Educación Superior que trabaja con conocimientos específicos de Ciencias Naturales tiene poco acercamiento a las teorías y conocimientos relacionados con la didáctica, lo que ha llevado a una mayor atención a la formación continua. Así, en este trabajo, se analiza el potencial de un proyecto de formación continua desarrollado en el entorno laboral de los participantes, en una alianza entre profesores del área de Química y del área de Educación Química. En este proyecto los docentes entraron en contacto con estudios en el campo de la Educación y planificaron clases a partir de estos estudios, desarrollándolas en sus propios grupos. Como resultado, los participantes destacaron la buena receptividad y la participación activa de los estudiantes e identificaron factores que contribuyeron al proceso de aprendizaje. Con esto, se argumenta que el acercamiento más directo entre la teoría y la práctica se dio por la asociación entre Químicos y Educadores Químicos y por la formación en el ambiente de trabajo de los docentes.]]></p></abstract>
