Entendendo a inclusão como um conjunto de práticas (bio)políticas que visam normalizar as condições de vida, acessos e fluxos no interior da população, examinam-se as principais políticas públicas de inclusão escolar no Brasil, a partir de leis e programas criados e divulgados durante os governos de Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1995-2002) e de Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (2002-2010). Argumenta-se que conhecer minimamente os deslocamentos do conceito de biopolítica é uma condição fundamental para compreender melhor as atuais práticas e políticas de inclusão, bem como os significados possíveis conferidos a essa palavra.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This paper discusses the conditions that contributed to configure educational inclusion as a relevant social and economic issue. Understanding inclusion as a set of (bio)political practices aimed at normalizing the living conditions, access and flow within the population, we examine the major policies of school inclusion in Brazil, from laws and programs created and released in the governments of Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1995-2002) and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (2002-2010). We argue that it is of major importance known the displacements of the concept of biopolitics if we want understand the actual inclusive practices and policies, and the possible means of the word “inclusion”.]]></p></abstract>
