Instalados os Centros Comunitários em Curitiba, com uma proposta de educação comunitária, deu-se início a um trabalho que, ao longo das décadas seguintes, iria se desenvolver de forma gradual, até sua efetiva consolidação, em meados de 1980, com a revisão da estrutura administrativa do Município, para nela se inserir a Divisão de Treinamento Pedagógico. Definida uma política educacional de formação docente, foi possível um trabalho abrangente, com ações que adequavam a formação dos professores às dificuldades por eles manifestadas em seu trabalho com a educação da população. A pesquisa, de caráter bibliográfico e documental, foi realizada com apoio nas reflexões de Neves (1988), Costa (2007)e Vieira (2010), fundamentando-se nos documentos disponíveis no Arquivo da Secretaria Municipal de Educação. Como resultado, foi possível delinear a trajetória da formação continuada de professores da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Curitiba em seu movimento de implantação, consolidação e expansão.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the experiences of the city of Curitiba on teachers’ continuous education since 1963. When Community Centers were installed in Curitiba, with a proposal of community education a work begun that, along the following decades, would develop gradually, until their actual consolidation in mid-1980, with the revision of the administrative structure of the Municipality to therein insert the Pedagogical Training Division. Once defined a set of teacher education policies, a comprehensive work was made possible, with actions that were adequating the teacher education to the difficulties mentioned by them from their work with the education of the population. The research, with bibliographic and documental nature, was carried out with support on the reflections of Neves (1988), Costa(2007) and Vieira (2010), being based on the documents available in the Archive of the Municipal Department of Education. As a result, it was possible to delineate the trajectory of the teachers’ continuous education for teachers of the Municipal School of Curitiba in their deplyment, consolidation and expansion movement.]]></p></abstract>
