Os sujeitos produziram representa&#231;&#245;es virtuais de professor e de diretor com o por meio de avatares e debateram essas representa&#231;&#245;es. Os dados do instrumento visual e do debate foram tratados pela metodologia de an&#225;lise de conte&#250;do (BARDIN, 1977). Os resultados revelaram uma rela&#231;&#227;o entre imagem visual e um conjunto de atributos, comportamentos e regras que convencionam identidades profissionais e pr&#225;ticas docentes. O meio visual promoveu reflex&#245;es acerca dessas representa&#231;&#245;es, contribuindo para a forma&#231;&#227;o de professores, para a &#225;rea da educa&#231;&#227;o e da gest&#227;o escolar, bem como para a teoria das representa&#231;&#245;es sociais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Based on the theory of social representations (MOSCOVICI, 2003), this research analyses teachers' representations of their identity, teaching practice and relationship with school management. Subjects produced a visual representation of teachers and head-teachers, with avatars and debated these representations. The data from the visual instrument and from the debate were treated by the content analysis methodology (BARDIN, 1977). The results revealed a relationship between visual image and attributes, behaviour and rules that conventionalize professional identities and teaching practices. The visual media promoted reflections upon these representations and contributed to teacher training, to the field of education and to school management, as well as to the theory of social representations.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Con base en la teor&#237;a de las representaciones sociales (MOSCOVICI, 2003), la encuesta analisa las representaciones de los maestros de escuela primaria acerca de su identidad, la pr&#225;ctica docente y la relaci&#243;n con la direcci&#243;n de escuela. Los sujetos producen una representaci&#243;n virtual del profesor y director con el instrumento del avatar y discuten estas representaciones. Los datos de lo instrumento visual e de debate fueron tratados por an&#225;lisis de contenido (BARDIN, 1977). Los resultados revelaron una relaci&#243;n entre la imagen visual y un conjunto de atributos, comportamientos y normas que convencionam pr&#225;cticas de ense&#241;anza y las identidades profesionales. El medio visual promovido reflexiones sobre estas representaciones, que contribuye a la formaci&#243;n del profesorado, a la esfera de la educaci&#243;n y de la gesti&#243;n escolar y a la teor&#237;a de las representaciones sociales.]]></p></abstract>
