These changes demand from us, as educational professionals, a more adaptable posture concerning to personal and institutional relations. One of these relationships is the one between institutions focused in teaching and the knowledge dissemination. Under a cognitivist view about knowledge, this paper researches trough bibliographic review and the presentation of Unesco ICT competency framework for teachers in 21st century to the knowledge society, how design thinking's methodology presumptions help us to use the abductive thinking as a strategy for the mediation in teaching and learning processes.
</abstract>
