Ces manuels sont tous destin&#233;s &#224; l'&#233;cole primaire &#224; un moment o&#249; celle-ci est en train de se mettre en place. Les r&#233;sultats montrent une surrepr&#233;sentation tr&#232;s importante des hommes par rapport aux femmes. Les unes et les autres sont pr&#233;sent&#233;s dans des activit&#233;s st&#233;r&#233;otyp&#233;es : les femmes plus dans la famille, et les hommes plus au travail.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper shows men and women rates and representations in arithmetic textbooks in France during the 19th century. Textbooks were written for teachers and pupils of primary schools. At this time, the primary was building. Results exhibit overrepresented men comparing women. Women are showed in stereotypical activities: rather women in family and men working.]]></p></abstract>
