A Campanha apresentou propostas para o Ensino Prim&#225;rio, com atividades que visavam &#224; melhoria da aprendizagem das crian&#231;as. Em particular, s&#227;o analisados tr&#234;s artigos, publicados no ano de 1961, relacionados ao tema "Conquistas da Matem&#225;tica", apresentando propostas para as quatro s&#233;ries do prim&#225;rio, nas quais se identifica uma associa&#231;&#227;o direta entre a matem&#225;tica e o desenvolvimento tecnol&#243;gico espacial. As propostas destacam a aprendizagem da matem&#225;tica como fator indispens&#225;vel &#224;s novas conquistas cient&#237;ficas e colocam em quest&#227;o o conceito de cotidiano que, na Campanha, assume uma dimens&#227;o mais ampla do que aquela relacionada &#224; vida pr&#225;tica da crian&#231;a, mas bastante presente no contexto cultural da &#233;poca.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The text analyzes articles published in the Revista do Ensino of Rio Grande do Sul, which broach the subject Mathematics Campaign, a contribution of the Primary School Department of the Rio de Janeiro General Secretary of Education and Culture. The Campaign exposed propositions to the primary school, including activities that aim the improvement of children's learning. In particular, there are three articles, published in 1961, related to the subject "Mathematics Achievements", which introduce proposals to the first four years of the primary school, in which is possible to identify a direct association between the mathematics and the spatial technology development. The proposals highlight the learning of the mathematics as an indispensable element to the new scientific achievements and put into discussion the concept of daily life that, in the Campaign,assume a larger dimension than the one related to the child daily life, but pretty present in the cultural context of the period.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El texto analiza art&#237;culos publicados por la Revista do Ensino del R&#237;o Grande del Sur, que abordan la Campa&#241;a de Matem&#225;tica, contribuci&#243;n del Departamento de Educaci&#243;n Primaria de la Secretaria de Educaci&#243;n y Cultura del estado del R&#237;o de Janeiro. La Campa&#241;a present&#243; propuestas para la ense&#241;anza primaria, con actividades que buscaban mejorar el nivel de aprendizaje de los ni&#241;os. En particular, son analizados tres art&#237;culos, publicados en el a&#241;o de 1961, relacionados al tema "Conquistas de la Matem&#225;tica", que presentan propuestas para las cuatro series de la primaria, en las cuales se identifica una asociaci&#243;n directa entre la matem&#225;tica y el desarrollo tecnol&#243;gico espacial. Las propuestas destacan el aprendizaje de la matem&#225;tica como factor indispensable a las nuevas conquistas cient&#237;ficas y discuten el concepto de cotidiano que, en la Campa&#241;a, asume una dimensi&#243;n m&#225;s amplia de que aquella relacionada a la vida pr&#225;ctica del ni&#241;o, pero bastante presente en el contexto cultural de la &#233;poca.]]></p></abstract>
