Considera-se aqui que a Educação deve ter a Pessoa como centro do processo. O problema principal em Educação é entender a Pessoa. A fundamentação teórica está em Dietrich von Hildebrand, Jacques Maritain e Alasdair MacIntyre. A hipótese é a necessidade de que a educação seja organizada segundo a natureza da Pessoa. O objetivo desse artigo é desenvolver argumentação para mostrar quão importante é prestar atenção à Pessoa quando existe o desejo de educar seres humanos. Seis tópicos relevantes foram selecionados para serem discutidos: amor; ética/valores; caráter; consciência; vontade e liberdade. A abordagem metodológica é a hermenêutica de Paul Ricoeur, pois ela permite ao autor explorar diferentes perspectivas e entender o que os filósofos e outros querem expressar. Filósofos e educadores questionam sobre Educação concernente à Pessoa como um ser humano real e concreto vivendo em um contexto social. Os tópicos dão oportunidade de compreensão dessa relação. É possível concluir que Educar a Pessoa é o meio de professores e todos os profissionais que trabalham com crianças e adolescentes demonstrarem respeito ao ser humano.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Educators need to think about the meaning of philosophy as the basis of their daily praxis. It is here considered that Education must have the Person as center of the process. The main problem in Education is understanding the Person. Theoretical foundation of this article are Dietrich von Hildebrand, Jacques Maritain, and Alasdair MacIntyre ideas. Hypothesis is the necessity to education to be organized according to the nature of the Person. The objective of this article is to develop argumentation to show how important it is to pay attention to the Person if there is the desire to educate human beings. Six topics were discussed: Love, Ethics/Values; Character; Consciousness; Will and Freedom. Methodological approach is Paul Ricoeur&#8217;s hermeneutics because this allows the author to explore different perspectives and to understand what the philosophers and others wanted to express. Philosophers and educators ask about the Education concerning the Person as a real and concrete human being living in a social context. The topics give opportunity to understand this relation. It is possible to conclude that Educating the Person is the way for teachers and all professionals working with children and adolescent to demonstrate respect for the human being.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Los educadores deben pensar en el significado de la filosofía como la base de su praxis diaria. Aquí se considera que la Educación debe tener a la Persona como centro del proceso. El principal problema en Educación es entender a la Persona. La base teórica de este artículo son Dietrich von Hildebrand, Jacques Maritain y Alasdair MacIntyre ideas. La hipótesis es la necesidad de organizar la educación según la naturaleza de la Persona. El objetivo de este artículo es desarrollar argumentos para mostrar lo importante que es prestar atención a la Persona si existe el deseo de educar a los seres humanos. Se discutieron seis temas: Amor, Ética/Valores; Persona; Conciencia; Voluntad y Libertad. El enfoque metodológico es la hermenéutica de Paul Ricoeur porque esto le permite al autor explorar diferentes perspectivas y comprender lo que los filósofos y otros querían expresar. Los filósofos y educadores preguntan acerca de la educación sobre la persona como un ser humano real y concreto que vive en un contexto social. Los temas dan la oportunidad de comprender esta relación. Es posible concluir que Educar a la Persona es el camino para que los maestros y todos los profesionales que trabajan con niños y adolescentes demuestren respeto por el ser humano.]]></p></abstract>
