Para tanto, o artigo apresenta uma análise das investigações realizadas no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, na linha de pesquisa Estudos sobre Infâncias, da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil), no período de 2006 a 2021. A materialidade investigativa é constituída de 32 investigações, sendo 6 teses e 26 dissertações. Para análise do material, foram utilizados procedimentos de análise do conteúdo, os quais possibilitaram definir as seguintes unidades analíticas: contextualização das pesquisas (apresentação do campo de pesquisa e participantes); concepções éticas (discussões sobre concordância das instituições, consentimento livre e esclarecido, assentimento livre e esclarecido das crianças e modos de participação das crianças); reflexividade do pesquisador (informações sobre a entrada em campo, desenvolvimento da investigação, saída do campo e devolutiva da pesquisa). Com as análises, foi possível depreender a imprescindibilidade da discussão detalhada da pauta ética na pesquisa com crianças; a relevância das discussões metodológicas das pesquisas enquanto escolhas éticas; a importância da afirmação das crianças como atores sociais de pleno direito nas pesquisas, assim como da reflexividade do pesquisador em todo o processo investigativo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract From the perspective of the field of Social Studies of Childhood, this paper results from state-of-knowledge research that aims to analyze the ethical discussions present in research involving children in Early Childhood Education. To this end, the article presents an analysis of studies carried out in the Graduate Program in Education, in the Childhood Studies research line, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), from 2006 to 2021. The research corpus consists of 32 studies, of which 6 are doctoral dissertations and 26 are master&#8217;s theses. To analyze the material, content analysis procedures were used, making it possible to define the following analytical units: research contextualization (presentation of the research field and participants); ethical framework (discussions about institutional agreement, informed consent, children&#8217;s informed assent and degree of participation); researcher&#8217;s reflexivity (information about entering the field, research development, leaving the field, and research feedback). With the analyses, it was possible to deduce the indispensability of discussing in detail the ethical agenda in research involving children; the relevance of discussions about research methodologies as ethical choices; the importance of affirming children as social actors in their own right in research, as well as the researcher&#8217;s ethical reflexivity throughout the research process.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Desde el campo de los Estudios Sociales de la Infancia, el artículo proviene de una investigación del tipo estado del conocimiento, que tiene el objetivo de analizar los debates éticos presentes en investigaciones con niños en la Educación Infantil. Para ello, el artículo presenta un análisis de las investigaciones realizadas en el Programa de Posgrado en Educación en la línea de investigación Estudios sobre Infancias, de la Universidad Federal de Río Grande del Sur (Brasil), en el periodo de 2006 a 2021. El material investigativo se constituye de 32 investigaciones compuestas por 6 tesis y 26 tesinas. Para el análisis del material, se utilizaron procedimientos de análisis de contenido, que permitieron definir las siguientes unidades analíticas: contextualización de las investigaciones (presentación del campo de investigación y participantes), concepciones éticas (debates sobre acuerdo de las instituciones, consentimiento libre e informado, acuerdo libre e informado de los niños y modos de su participación); reflexión del investigador (información sobre entrada en campo, desarrollo de la investigación, salida de campo y resultados de la investigación). Con los análisis, se pudo inferir la imprescindibilidad del debate detallado de la pauta ética en la investigación con niños; la relevancia de los debates metodológicos de las investigaciones en cuanto elecciones éticas; y la importancia de afirmar a los niños como actores sociales de pleno derecho en las investigaciones, así como la reflexión ética del investigador en todo el proceso investigativo.]]></p></abstract>
