Os participantes do estudo são dezessete crianças, de ambos os sexos, com idades de três e quatro anos e uma professora, integrantes de uma instituição pública de Educação Infantil. Deste modo, a pesquisa que deu origem ao presente texto evidenciou o corpo como parte das formas de participação das crianças na Educação Infantil e, ao trazê-lo, tenciona os modos desta participação frente às formas de controle regulatório instituídas no contexto da instituição educativa. Nesta discussão, pretendemos evidenciar o direito à participação das crianças no contexto educativo e suas relações com a dimensão corporal, buscando problematizar sobre as práticas de disciplinamento e controle das ações sociais das crianças por meio do silenciamento das experiências de seus corpos instituídas pela professora. Lançamos mão dos estudos da Sociologia da Infância para constituir as análises, as quais sinalizam que as diferentes formas de participação das crianças indicam a necessidade que elas têm de expressar-se, principalmente, com seu corpo. Os dados alçados consideraram um descompasso entre o direito das crianças à participação, sobretudo nas práticas propostas pela professora, sendo necessário refletir os modos controladores e limitantes que se impõem nos contextos educativos sobre a dimensão corporal das crianças.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study brings contributions from a doctoral research that took in as an investigative problem to understand the forms of participation of children in Early Childhood Education and its influences on pedagogical practice, using methodological procedures inspired by Ethnography. The study participants are seventeen children, of both sexes, aged three and four years and a teacher, members of a public institution of Early Childhood Education. Thereby, the research that gave rise to this text highlighted the body as part of the forms of participation of children in Early Childhood Education and, by bringing it, questions the ways of this participation in face of the forms of regulatory control instituted in the context of the educational institution. In this discussion, we intend to highlight the right to participation of children in the educational context and its relationships with the body dimension, seeking to problematize the practices of discipline and control of children's social actions through the silencing of the experiences of their bodies instituted by the teacher. We made use of studies of the Sociology of Childhood to constitute the analysis, which shows that the different forms of participation of children indicate the need that they have to express themselves, mainly with their bodies. The raised data considered a mismatch between the right of children to participate, especially in the practices proposed by the teacher, so, it&#8217;s necessary to reflect on the controlling and limiting ways that are imposed in educational contexts on the body dimension of children.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este estudio trae contribuciones de una investigación de doctorado que asumió como problemática investigativa comprender las formas de participación de niños en la Educación Infantil y sus influencias en la práctica pedagógica, utilizando procedimientos metodológicos inspirados en la Etnografía. Los participantes del estudio son diecisiete niños, de ambos sexos, con edades de tres y cuatro años y una maestra, integrantes de una institución pública de Educación Infantil. De este modo, la investigación que dio origen al presente texto evidenció el cuerpo como parte de las formas de participación de los niños en la Educación Infantil y, al traerlo, conduce a los modos de esta participación frente a las formas de control regulatorio instituidas en el contexto de la institución educativa. En esta discusión, pretendemos evidenciar el derecho a la participación de los niños en el contexto educativo y sus relaciones con la dimensión corporal, buscando problematizar sobre las prácticas de disciplina y control de las acciones sociales de los niños por medio del silenciar las experiencias de sus cuerpos instituidos por la maestra. Hacemos uso de los estudios de la Sociología de la Infancia para constituir los análisis, los cuales evidencian que las diferentes formas de participación de los niños indican la necesidad que ellas tienen de expresarse, principalmente, con su cuerpo. Los datos alzados consideraron un descompás entre el derecho de los niños a la participación, sobre todo en las prácticas propuestas por la maestra, siendo necesario reflexionar los modos controladores y limitantes que se imponen en los contextos educativos sobre la dimensión corporal de los niños.]]></p></abstract>
