A pesquisa &#233; de abordagem qualitativa e os participantes s&#227;o professores estaduais em processo de forma&#231;&#227;o continuada pelo PDE (Programa de Desenvolvimento Educacional - Paran&#225;). A coleta de dados realizou-se mediante entrevistas semiestruturadas (N=6); e a an&#225;lise dos dados foi sob o aporte da an&#225;lise textual discursiva. Os resultados apontam que ser professor, para os sujeitos da pesquisa, &#233; em primeiro lugar, ter comprometimento; em segundo lugar ser dedicado e em terceiro &#233; sempre buscar forma&#231;&#227;o e estar engajado em estudos e novas aprendizagens. Relaciona-se ainda com as transforma&#231;&#245;es sociais, abrange trabalhar com o conhecimento e a incerteza da contemporaneidade. O manter-se professor revelou-se pelo significante &#8220;transforma&#231;&#227;o&#8221;. Conclui-se que os docentes investigados precisam dar conta de situa&#231;&#245;es que est&#227;o al&#233;m do processo de ensino e aprendizagem, ultrapassando-oe o manter-se na doc&#234;ncia se envolve intimamente com o desejo de ser reconhecido pelo outro. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  The objective of this study was to understand what is being and remaining a teacher. The research is a qualitative approach and participants are state teachers in the continuing education process by PDE (Education Development Program - Paran&#225;). Data gathering was carried out by semi-structured interviews (N=6), and data were analyzed in the framework of discursive textual analysis. The results show that being a teacher for the subjects, is first, having a commitment, secondly being dedicated and third is always to seek education and be engaged in research and new learning; also relates to the social, covers work with the knowledge and the uncertainty of contemporaneity. On the other hand remaining a teacher was proved by the significant &#8220;transformation&#8221;. It is concluded that the investigated teachers need to account for situations that are beyond the process of teaching and learning, overcoming it and remaining a teacher engages closely with the desire to be recognized by the other. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  El objetivo de este estudio es dar a conocer el ser y seguir siendo un profesor. La investigaci&#243;n sigue un enfoque cualitativo y los participantes son los profesores del estado en proceso en curso de la educaci&#243;n por el PDE (Programa de Desarrollo de la Educaci&#243;n - Paran&#225;). La recolecci&#243;n de datos se llev&#243; a cabo por entrevistas semiestructuradas (N=6); y el an&#225;lisis de los datos se realiz&#243; con la contribuci&#243;n de an&#225;lisis textual discursivo. Los resultados muestran que el ser un profesor para los sujetoses, en primer lugar, tener compromiso; en segundo lugar, estar dedicado; y tercero, estar siempre en buscar de una formaci&#243;n y dedicarse a la investigaci&#243;n y al nuevo aprendizaje; tambi&#233;n se refiere a los aspectos sociales, que cubren el trabajo con el conocimiento y la incertidumbre de la contemporaneidad. El maestro torre&#243;n demuestra el significativo "transformaci&#243;n". Se concluye que los profesores investigados deben tener en cuenta las situaciones que est&#225;n fuera del proceso de ense&#241;anza y aprendizaje, superarlas y seguir la ense&#241;anzaajust&#225;ndose estrechamente al deseo de ser reconocido por los otros. ]]></p></abstract>
