Partindo da ideia de que o ensino médio deve aprofundar conhecimentos com base em reflexões conceituais interdisciplinares e vivência técnica aprimorada, tivemos como objetivo deste estudo apresentar e discutir uma experiência pedagógica com a luta marajoara realizada no Estado do Pará, no contexto de uma escola pública federal da capital Belém. A pergunta que norteou a construção e o desenvolvimento da experiência foi: como ensinar a luta marajoara no ensino médio? Por meio da experiência vivenciada, foi possível inferir que a luta marajoara, quando mediada pedagogicamente, apresenta um amplo potencial educativo, pois, em virtude do seu aspecto de novidade e pertencimento regional, possibilita que os estudantes compreendam dimensões de conhecimento fundamentais do campo das lutas corporais em geral, ao mesmo tempo em que conhecem alguns elementos constitutivos da identidade cultural marajoara.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study discusses didactic and methodological aspects for teaching marajoara wrestling in high school, based on the presentation of a pedagogical sequence of four classes developed in 2023 with approximately 136 first-year students. Starting from the idea that high school should deepen knowledge with based on interdisciplinary, conceptual reflections and improved technical experience, the objective of this study was to present and discuss a pedagogical experience with the marajoara wrestling held in the State of Pará, in the context of a federal public school in the capital Belém. The question that guided the construction and development of the experience was: how to teach marajoara wrestling in high school? Through the lived experience, it was possible to infer that the marajoara wrestling, when pedagogically mediated, presents a broad educational potential, because, due to its novelty and regional belonging, it allows students to understand fundamental dimensions of knowledge in the field of body fights in general, at the same time in which know about some constituent elements of marajoara cultural identity.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El presente trabajo discute aspectos didáctico-metodológicos para la enseñanza de la lucha marajoara en la escuela secundaria, a partir de la presentación de una secuencia pedagógica de cuatro clases desarrollada en el año 2023, con aproximadamente 136 estudiantes del 1º año. Partiendo de la idea de que la escuela secundaria debe profundizar conocimientos con base en la interdisciplinariedad, reflexiones conceptuales y perfeccionamiento de la experiencia técnica, el objetivo de este estudio fue presentar y discutir una experiencia pedagógica con la lucha marajoara realizada en el Estado de Pará, en el contexto de una escuela pública federal en la capital Belém. La pregunta que guió la construcción y desarrollo de la experiencia fue: ¿Cómo enseñar lucha marajoara en la escuela secundaria? A través de la experiencia vivida, fue posible inferir que la lucha marajoara, cuando es mediada pedagógicamente, tiene un amplio potencial educativo, ya que, por su novedad y pertenencia regional, permite a los estudiantes comprender dimensiones fundamentales del conocimiento en el campo de las luchas corporales en general, al mismo tiempo que conocen algunos elementos constitutivos de la identidad cultural marajoara.]]></p></abstract>
