Esta rede social evidenciou-se como uma comunidade virtual, pois foram estabelecidos la&#231;os afetivos, n&#243;s, conex&#245;es e teias de rela&#231;&#245;es entre seus participantes. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e colaborativa no sentido de que as experi&#234;ncias dos pesquisadores e professores s&#227;o valorizadas e compartilhadas dentro de um contexto social. Os resultados apontam que os participantes do grupo em forma&#231;&#227;o continuada, apesar de suas dificuldades com o uso da pr&#243;pria tecnologia e com a pouca infraestrutura tecnol&#243;gica, enxergam estes espa&#231;os virtuais como uma possibilidade de novas descobertas, cria&#231;&#245;es e produ&#231;&#227;o de conhecimento, n&#227;o abandonando os costumes, as tradi&#231;&#245;es e a sua pr&#243;pria cultura.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This research aims to analyze continuous training of teachers indigenous and non-indigenous, mediated by a social network on Ning called Internet under an intercultural perspective. This social network has come up as a virtual community as they have been established emotional ties, webs of connections and relationships between its participants. This is a qualitative research and collaborative in the sense that the experiences of researchers and teachers are valued and shared within a social context. The results show that participants in the group continuing of education, despite their difficulties using the technology itself and with little technological infrastructure, they see these virtual spaces as a possibility for new discoveries, creations and knowledge production, not forsaking the customs, traditions and their own culture.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Esta investigaci&#243;n tiene como objetivo analizar la formaci&#243;n continua de profesores ind&#237;genas y no ind&#237;genas, mediada por una red social en Internet, llamada Ning, en una perspectiva intercultural. Esta red social surgi&#243; como una comunidad virtual, ya que se han establecido lazos afectivos, redes de conexiones y relaciones entre sus participantes. Se trata de una investigaci&#243;n cualitativa y de colaboraci&#243;n en el sentido de que las experiencias de los investigadores y los profesores son valoradas y compartidas dentro de un contexto social. Los resultados muestran que los participantes del grupo de educaci&#243;n continua, a pesar de sus dificultades para usar la tecnolog&#237;a y con poca infraestructura tecnol&#243;gica, ven estos espacios virtuales como una posibilidad de nuevos descubrimientos, creaciones y de producci&#243;n de conocimiento, sin dejar sus costumbres, sus tradiciones y su propia cultura.]]></p></abstract>
