Possibilitar que seja problematizada a realidade da comunidade local, a valorização das práticas sociais e culturais e a emancipação humana, contribuiu para o desenvolvimento de um ensino de ciências crítico e reflexivo. Reforçando, ainda, um compromisso com a Educação do Campo, a qual tem suas premissas alicerçadas na valorização dos modos de vida dos camponeses.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT By highlighting a traditional practice, the artisanal production of the cachaça, we sought to point its pedagogical possibilities from a dialogical perspective of Science, Technology and Society (CTS). Through the analysis of a semi-structured interview with a cachaça producer. Making it possible to problematize the reality of the local community, valuing social and cultural practices and human emancipation, contributed to the development of critical and reflective science teaching. It also reinforces a commitment to Rural Education, which has its premises based on the valorization of the peasants' ways of life.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Al destacar una práctica tradicional, la producción artesanal de cachaça, buscamos señalar sus posibilidades pedagógicas desde una perspectiva dialógica de Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad (CTS), a través del análisis de una entrevista semiestructurada con un productor de cachaza. Permitir problematizar la realidad de la comunidad local, valorando las prácticas sociales y culturales y la emancipación humana, contribuyó al desarrollo de una enseñanza de las ciencias crítica y reflexiva. También refuerza una apuesta por la Educación Rural, que tiene como premisas la valoración de los modos de vida de los campesinos.]]></p></abstract>
