Observamos que a emergência da inovação como elemento de reflexão na formação docente em Educação Física decorre de sua demarcação em diretrizes e sua exploração teórico-metodológica e epistemológica em projetos pedagógicos e no currículo. A vivência cotidiana formativa, além disso, precisa proporcionar em suas atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão o desenvolvimento profissional de docentes que entendam a inovação e suas características como uma das fontes para atuação com qualidade e compromisso político na escola básica. A modelação curricular, por exemplo, representa um dos conceitos que, trabalhado no ensino superior, viabiliza a experimentação da inovação no currículo, atribuindo a esse objeto um caráter ampliado, dinâmico e flexível, favorecendo a existência de práticas inovadoras na Educação Física.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This essay brings reflections on innovation in the initial formation for the licentiate degree and aims to analyze theoretical, normative and experiential bases that impel the deal with this phenomenon in the Physical Education higher education course. We observed that the emergence of innovation as an element of reflection in Physical Education teacher training comes from its demarcation in curricular guidelines and from its theoretical and methodological exploration in pedagogical projects and in the curriculum. In addition, the daily life experienced needs to provide in its various teaching, research and extension activities the professional development of teachers who understand innovation and its characteristics as one of the sources for acting with quality in the basic school. Curriculum modeling, for example, represents one of the concepts that, worked in higher education, allow thinking and experiencing innovation in the curriculum, attributing to this object an expanded, dynamic and flexible character, favoring the existence of innovative practices in Physical Education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Este ensayo trae reflexiones sobre la innovación en la formación inicial para la licenciatura y tiene como objetivo analizar las bases teóricas, normativas y vivenciales que impulsan el abordaje de este fenómeno en la carrera de Educación Física superior. Observamos que la emergencia de la innovación como elemento de reflexión en la formación del profesorado de Educación Física proviene de su demarcación en los lineamientos curriculares y de su exploración teórica y metodológica en los proyectos pedagógicos y en el currículo. Además, la vida cotidiana vivida necesita proveer en sus diversas actividades de docencia, investigación y extensión el desarrollo profesional de docentes que entiendan la innovación y sus características como una de las fuentes para actuar con calidad en la escuela básica.
