Argumenta-se que, diante da pluralidade de saberes que se apresentam na Educa&#231;&#227;o Superior, o saber pedag&#243;gico est&#225; na mesma import&#226;ncia do saber da ci&#234;ncia espec&#237;fica. A pesquisa ocorreu em uma abordagem qualitativa e descritiva, valendo-se de estudo bibliogr&#225;fico e an&#225;lise documental. Este ensaio possibilitou compreender que a supera&#231;&#227;o da cultura de omiss&#227;o da necessidade de forma&#231;&#227;o pedag&#243;gica para a atua&#231;&#227;o docente no ensino superior passa, necessariamente, por mudan&#231;as na concep&#231;&#227;o dos professores j&#225; atuantes em nossas universidades, bem como pela reflex&#227;o constante sobre a pr&#243;pria pr&#225;tica. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  In this study it was analyzed the political and pedagogical training practices offered by a Higher Education Institution, foreseeing the space and time in which such training happens. It is argued that, before the plurality of knowledge that is presented in Higher Education, the pedagogical knowledge is as important as knowledge of specific science. The survey has a qualitative and descriptive approach, making use of bibliographical study and documental analysis. This test allowed us to understand that overcoming the culture of omission of the need for teaching practice in higher education goes, necessarily, by changes in the concept of teachers who already work in our universities, as well as the constant reflection on their own practice.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: El estudio analiza las pol&#237;ticas y pr&#225;cticas de formaci&#243;n pedag&#243;gica ofrecidos por una Instituci&#243;n de Educaci&#243;n Superior, previendo los espacios y tiempos que dicha formaci&#243;n se lleva a cabo. Se argumenta que, dada la pluralidad de conocimientos que se presentan en la Educaci&#243;n Superior, el conocimiento pedag&#243;gico se encuentra en la misma cantidad de conocimiento de la ciencia espec&#237;fica. El estudio se dio en un enfoque cualitativo y descriptivo, a partir de la literatura de investigaci&#243;n y an&#225;lisis de documentos. Este ensayo nos permiti&#243; entender que la superaci&#243;n de la cultura de omisi&#243;n de la necesidad de la formaci&#243;n del profesorado para la ense&#241;anza en la educaci&#243;n superior implica, necesariamente, un cambio en el dise&#241;o de los maestros que ya est&#225;n trabajando en nuestras universidades, as&#237; como la constante reflexi&#243;n sobre la propia pr&#225;ctica.]]></p></abstract>
