Sete escolas participaram da pesquisa, das quais tr&#234;s com desempenho alto e quatro com desempenho baixo na referida Prova. Para a coleta dos dados foram aplicados dois question&#225;rios aos profes sores. Os dados quantitativos foram analisados mediante o EncuestaF&#225;cil, e os dados qualitativos, mediante a t&#233;cnica de an&#225;lise de conte&#250;do. Na pesquisa constatou-se re la&#231;&#227;o significativa positiva entre a estabilidade docente na mesma escola e o desempe nho alto dos alunos, e identificaram-se condicionantes desfavor&#225;veis &#224; atua&#231;&#227;o eficaz do professor e favor&#225;veis e desfavor&#225;veis ao bom desempenho dos alunos. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to verify the view of state public school tea chers on the conditionings unfavorable to their performance and on the conditionings of student achievement in Prova Brasil. Seven schools participated in the research, from which three with high achievement and four with low achievement. For data collection, two questionnaires were applied to teachers. For the analysis of the quantitative data, the EncuestaF&#225;cil was used and for the analysis of the qualitative data, the technique of content analysis. The study revealed significant positive relationship between teacher stability at the same school and student high achievement, as well as unfavorable conditionings to teacher effective performance and favorable and unfavorable conditionings to student high achievement.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: El objetivo de esta investigaci&#243;n fu&#233; verificar la perspectiva de professores de escuelas p&#250;blicas paulistas sobre los condicionantes desfavorables a su actuaci&#243;n y los condicionantes del desempe&#241;o de alumnos en la Prova Brasil. Siete escuelas participaran de la pesquisa, de las cuales tres con desempe&#241;o alto e cuatro con desempe&#241;o bajo. Para la recolecci&#243;n de los datos, fueran aplicados dos cuestionarios a los profesores. Para el an&#225;lisis de los datos cuantitativos, fu&#233; utilizado el Encuesta- F&#225;cil y para el an&#225;lisis de los datos cualitativos, la t&#233;cnica de an&#225;lisis de contenido. La investigaci&#243;n constat&#243; relaci&#243;n significativa positiva entre estabilidad docente en la misma escuela y desempe&#241;o alto de los alumnos, e condicionantes favorables e desfavorables al bueno desempe&#241;o de los alumnos.]]></p></abstract>
