Esse artigo visa a análise de dados colhidos a partir da aplicação dessas avaliações que servem para verificar a evolução da qualidade educacional de rede pública do Ceará e de grupos de escolas cearenses com desempenhos diferentes. Para isso, utilizou documentos legais e produção científica de especialistas na área que pudessem embasar a análise desses dados e contribuir com uma visão crítica das avaliações como instrumentos fomentadores das necessidades do mercado. Tais análises mostraram que a educação pública cearense vem avançando, no entanto, as desigualdades entre escolas persistem, o que reforça a ideia de que políticas de melhoria devem levar em consideração uma série de fatores e especificidades das escolas e das redes além dos resultados dessas avaliações.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: External assessments are instruments that aim to measure the educational quality offered by education networks and underpin countless accountability policies. This article aims to analyze data collected from the assessments application that serve to verify the educational quality evolution of the governmental network of Ceará and of groups from Ceará schools with different performances. For this, legal documents and scientific production from specialists in the area was used that could support the data analysis and contribute to a critical view of the assessments as instruments that promote the market needs. Such analyzes showed that government education in Ceará has been advancing, however, inequalities between schools persist, which reinforces the idea that improvement policies should take into account a series of factors and specificities of schools and networks beyond the assessments results.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Las evaluaciones externas son instrumentos que tienen como objetivo medir la calidad educativa que ofrecen las redes educativas y son la base de innumerábles políticas de accountability. Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los datos recopilados de la aplicación de estas evaluaciones que sirven para verificar la evolución de la calidad educativa de la red pública de Ceará y de grupos de escuelas de Ceará con diferentes rendimientos. Para esto, utilizó documentos legales y producción científica de especialistas en el área que podrían apoyar el análisis de estos datos y contribuir a una visión crítica de las evaluaciones como herramientas que fomentan las necesidades del mercado. Tales análisis mostraron que la educación pública en Ceará ha estado avanzando, sin embargo, persisten las desigualdades entre las escuelas, lo que refuerza la idea de que las políticas de mejora deben tener en cuenta una serie de factores y especificidades de las escuelas y redes además de los resultados de estas evaluaciones.]]></p></abstract>
