Assim, esta investigação se configura como qualitativa, desenvolvida a partir de inspirações etnográficas, com a utilização de dois instrumentos de produção dos dados - questionário e observação da prática pedagógica - analisados a partir dos pressupostos da Análise de Conteúdo. Os/as colaboradores/as deste estudo foram três professores/as que atuavam nos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental do município de Itapetinga-BA, que estavam no período de Examinação, sendo duas mulheres e um homem. Os resultados mostraram que a Examinação é um dos períodos mais críticos da carreira docente e que precisa urgentemente da atenção do poder público; que as características sentimentais-emocionais são mais de ordem negativa, como estresse, cansaço, frustração, ansiedade, adoecimento etc. Verificamos, por meio da observação da prática pedagógica, que as ações, em sala de aula, dos/as docentes demarcam &#8220;aspectos da experiência&#8221; e essa é uma característica importante que faz a diferença na carreira e contribui para o desenvolvimento profissional. Constatamos que as características do período de Examinação possuem desdobramentos direto no ensino e que se concretiza por meio das escolhas que os/as docentes fazem para desenvolver suas práticas. Todos esses desdobramentos, impactam diretamente no desenvolvimento profissional do/a professor/as, pois estão relacionados com aspectos pessoais e profissionais, sendo totalmente vinculadas à carreira como as políticas de oferta, de acesso, de melhoria, de formação, de condições de trabalho, dentre outras.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: In this article, we aim to understand the characteristics of the Examination period that makes up the Brazilian Teaching Career Model and its consequences in teaching. Thus, this research is configured as qualitative, developed from ethnographic inspirations, with the use of two data production instruments - questionnaire and observation of pedagogical practice - analyzed from the assumptions of Content Analysis. The collaborators of this study were three teachers who worked in the Final Years of Elementary School in the city of Itapetinga-BA, who were in the Examination period, two women and one man. The results showed that the Examination is one of the most critical periods of the teaching career and that it urgently needs the attention of the government; that the sentimental-emotional characteristics are more of a negative nature, such as stress, fatigue, frustration, anxiety, illness etc. We have verified, through the observation of pedagogical practice, that the actions of teachers in the classroom demarcate &#8220;aspects of experience&#8221; and this is an important characteristic that makes a difference in the career and contributes to professional development. We have found that the characteristics of the Examination period have direct consequences on teaching and that this is realized through the choices that teachers make to develop their practices. All of these consequences have a direct impact on the professional development of teachers, as they are related to aspects personal and professional, and are fully linked the career such as policies of supply, access, improvement, training, working conditions, among others.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN: En este artículo pretendemos comprender las características del período de exámenes que compone el Modelo Brasileño de Carrera Docente y sus consecuencias en la enseñanza. Así, esta investigación es cualitativa, desarrollada a partir de inspiraciones etnográficas, utilizando dos instrumentos de producción de datos - cuestionario y observación de la práctica pedagógica - analizados a partir de los supuestos del Análisis de Contenido. Los colaboradores de este estudio fueron tres profesores que actuaban en los últimos años de la enseñanza primaria en el municipio de Itapetinga-BA, que se encontraban en el período de examen, dos mujeres y un hombre. Los resultados mostraron que el Examen es uno de los períodos más críticos de la carrera docente y que necesita urgentemente la atención de las autoridades públicas; que las características sentimentales-emocionales son más de carácter negativo, como estrés, cansancio, frustración, ansiedad, enfermedad etc. Verificamos, a través de la observación, que las acciones de los docentes en el aula demarcan &#8220;aspectos de la experiencia&#8221; y esta es una característica importante que marca la diferencia en la carrera y contribuye al desarrollo profesional. Encontramos que las características del período de Exámenes tienen implicaciones directas para la enseñanza y que ésta se materializa a través de las elecciones que hacen los docentes para desarrollar sus prácticas. Todos estos desarrollos tienen un impacto directo en el desarrollo profesional del docente, al estar relacionados con aspectos personales y profesionales, estando plenamente vinculados la carrera tales como políticas de oferta, acceso, superación, formación, condiciones de trabajo, entre otros.]]></p></abstract>
