A an&#225;lise recai, em primeiro lugar, nos problemas e solu&#231;&#245;es para o ensino prim&#225;rio rural aventado por diferentes educadores. Em seguida, examinamos as concep&#231;&#245;es contrastantes dos defensores da ruraliza&#231;&#227;o do ensino e dos partid&#225;rios da escola comum. Na sequ&#234;ncia, ressaltamos as discuss&#245;es sobre a forma&#231;&#227;o dos professores prim&#225;rios rurais e, por &#250;ltimo, analisamos as iniciativas levadas a termo pelos governos do Estado de S&#227;o Paulo para a educa&#231;&#227;o prim&#225;ria rural no per&#237;odo delimitado para este estudo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The aim of this paper is to reconstruct the debate on the rural primary school education in S&#227;o Paulo state in Brazil by examining the representations by educators published in periodic educational press as well as looking at initiatives carried out by public authorities. The analysis, at first, falls on problems and solutions for rural primary school education alluded to by different educators. Then, we analyze the contrasting conceptions from defenders of turning that ruralisation of school against those who defended a common curriculum to the rural primary school education as well. After that, we highlight the discussions over the training of the rural primary school teachers and, finally, we analyze the initiatives effectively put into practice by the S&#227;o Paulo state government on the rural primary school education in the covered period of this study.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[El objeto de este texto es rehabilitar la contienda a cerca de la ense&#241;anza primaria rural en el Estado de S&#227;o Paulo examinando las representaciones de los educadores difundidas en la prensa peri&#243;dica educacional y las iniciativas pol&#237;ticas llevadas a cabo por el gobierno. En primer lugar, el an&#225;lisis se basa sobre los problemas y soluciones para la ense&#241;anza primaria rural debatido por diferentes educadores. A continuaci&#243;n, examinamos las concepciones distintas de los defensores de la ruralizaci&#243;n de la ense&#241;anza y de los partidarios de una escuela com&#250;n. Despu&#233;s, se&#241;alamos los debates sobre la formaci&#243;n de los profesores primarios rurales, y por &#250;ltimo, analizamos las iniciativas presentadas a termo por los gobiernos del Estado de S&#227;o Paulo a la educaci&#243;n primaria rural en el per&#237;odo delimitado para este estudio.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Le but de ce papier est de reconstituer le d&#233;bat sur l'enseignement primaire en milieu rural dans l'&#201;tat de S&#227;o Paulo, en examinant les repr&#233;sentations des enseignants parus dans la presse p&#233;riodique &#233;ducationnele et les initiatives politiques entrepris par le gouvernement. L'analyse se concentre, en premier lieu, aux probl&#232;mes et les solutions pour l'&#233;ducation primaire rurale &#233;voqu&#233;e par les diff&#233;rents &#233;ducateurs. Ensuite, nous examinons les conceptions contrast&#233;es de d&#233;fenseurs de la ruralisation de l'&#233;ducation et les partisans de l'&#233;cole r&#233;guli&#232;re. En outre, nous soulignons les discussions sur la formation des enseignants en milieu rural et, enfin, nous analysons les initiatives prises avant par les gouvernements de l'&#201;tat de S&#227;o Paulo vers l'enseignement primaire rural en p&#233;riode d&#233;limit&#233;e pour cette &#233;tude.]]></p></abstract>
