O material teve circula&#231;&#227;o durante toda a primeira metade do s&#233;culo 20. A an&#225;lise realizada mostra o papel de Louren&#231;o Filho na longa perman&#234;ncia deste dispositivo de ensino, transformado em &#237;cone da pedagogia moderna da matem&#225;tica na escola prim&#225;ria.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The text examines the production and circulation of material used for teaching arithmetic which became known by the name of Tables, Maps and Charts Parker. The material was outstanding during the entire first half of the twentieth century. The analysis shows the role of Louren&#231;o Filho long stay in this teaching device, transformed into an icon of modern pedagogy of mathematics in primary school.]]></p></abstract>

El material fue excelente durante toda la primera mitad del siglo 20. El an&#225;lisis pone de manifiesto el papel de Louren&#231;o Filho como responsable de la larga persistencia de este dispositivo de ense&#241;anza, convertido en un icono de la pedagog&#237;a moderna de las matem&#225;ticas en la escuela primaria.]]></p></abstract>

Le mat&#233;riau a &#233;t&#233; remarquable durant toute la premi&#232;re moiti&#233; du 20e si&#232;cle.
