Este propósito conduce hacia el segundo objetivo: resaltar la relevancia y necesidad de estudiar a fondo, desde una perspectiva teórica y crítica, los aspectos metodológicos de análisis de los libros de texto. El tercero es presentar una propuesta metodológica multimodal e interdisciplinar que permite obtener información sobre el manual escolar como fuente documental historiográfica, social y política, de manera rigurosa. Se enfatiza la importancia de diferenciar el libro de texto como documento singular multicontextualizado, por una parte, y el objeto de estudio dentro del manual, por otra.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: O primeiro objetivo deste artigo é prosseguir no desenvolvimento de questões metodológicas relacionadas com a pesquisa manualística, construindo a partir da base de trabalhos teóricos e empíricos anteriores. Esse propósito conduz ao segundo objetivo: ressaltar a relevância e necessidade de estudar a fundo, desde uma perspectiva teórica e crítica, os aspectos metodológicos da análise de livros de texto. Por fim, o terceiro objetivo é apresentar uma proposta metodológica multimodal e interdisciplinar que permita obter informações sobre o manual escolar como fonte documental historiográfica, social e política, de maneira rigorosa. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The first objective of the work is to continue advancing on methodological issues related to textbook research, building on the basis of previous theoretical and empirical works. This purpose leads to the second objective: to highlight the relevance and need to study thoroughly, from a theoretical and critical perspective, the methodological aspects of textbook analysis. The third is to present a multimodal and interdisciplinary methodological proposal that allows obtaining information about the school manual as a historiographic, social and political documentary source, in a rigorous manner. The importance of differentiating the textbook as a singular multicontextualized document, on the one hand, and the object of study with in the manual, on the other, is emphasized.]]></p></abstract>
