Os programas educativos deveriam contribuir com essa tarefa, aproximando os educandos de reflex&#245;es, posicionamentos e valores de interesse socioambiental, de forma a que as propostas e esses valores possam lhes &#8220;fazer algum sentido&#8221;. Assim, nos propusemos a investigar essa constru&#231;&#227;o de sentidos por parte de professores interessados na Educa&#231;&#227;o Ambiental. Objetivamos, neste texto, apresentar alguns sentidos produzidos por uma professora do Ensino Fundamental ao buscar incorporar em suas aulas o trabalho com a dimens&#227;o valorativa da tem&#225;tica ambiental. A pr&#225;tica da professora se mostrou impregnada do sentido de desafio, diante da tarefa de buscar ampliar o olhar de seus alunos &#8211; crian&#231;as &#8211; sobre um problema ambiental, de forma menos ing&#234;nua e mais cr&#237;tica, segundo as compreens&#245;es que a pr&#243;pria educadora constru&#237;ra a partir de seu processo formativo. Esse sentido foi temperado com sua inten&#231;&#227;o otimista de colaborar com o enfrentamento da crise ambiental e a transforma&#231;&#227;o ambiental e social que almejamos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT As we recognize the need to change the hegemonic value system that supports the current standard of unsustainable relationship between society and nature, we are interested in investigate the possibilities of strengthening up counter-hegemonic ideologies. Educational programs should contribute to this task, bringing students closer to thoughts, positions and values of social and environmental interest, so that the proposals and these values can be of significance to them. So we propose to investigate the construction of meaning by teachers interested in environmental education. In this paper we aim to present some meanings produced by a primary school teacher while she seeked to incorporate in her classes the work with the values dimension of environmental issues. This teacher&#8217;s practice seemed impregnated with the sense of challenge, as she was faced with the task of expanding the mindset of her students &#8211; children &#8211; about an environmental problem in a more critical way, in accordance with the understandings she herself had elaborated in the in-service teacher program that she participated. This meaning was permeated with her optimistic willingness to cooperate with the facing of the environmental crisis and the environmental and social transformation with which we aim.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN En la medida en que reconocemos la necesidad de cambiar el sistema de valores hegem&#243;nicos que apoya las actuales pautas insostenibles de relaci&#243;n entre la sociedad y la naturaleza nos interesa investigar las posibilidades de las ideolog&#237;as contrahegem&#243;nicas fortalecerse. Los programas educativos deben contribuir al esta tarea, y llevar a los estudiantes las reflexiones, las posiciones y los valores de inter&#233;s social y ambiental, por lo que las propuestas y estos valores se pueden &#8220;tener sentido&#8221; a ellos. As&#237; que nos propusimos investigar la construcci&#243;n de sentido en los docentes interesados en la educaci&#243;n ambiental. Pretendemos en este texto presentar algunos sentidos producidos por una maestra de escuela primaria en la b&#250;squeda de incorporar en sus clases el trabajo con la dimensi&#243;n de valores de los problemas medioambientales. La pr&#225;ctica de la maestra demonstr&#243; impregnada del sentido del desaf&#237;o, frente a la tarea de ampliar la mirada de sus alumnos &#8211; ni&#241;os y ni&#241;as &#8211; acerca de un problema ambiental, menos ingenua y m&#225;s cr&#237;tica, de acuerdo con las comprensiones construidas a partir del programa de educaci&#243;n permanente en el que particip&#243;. Este sentido se vincul&#243; a su intenci&#243;n optimista de apoyo a la lucha contra la crisis ambiental y la transformaci&#243;n ambiental y social que deseamos.]]></p></abstract>
