Entende-se que a pr&#225;tica pedag&#243;gica define, al&#233;m de aprendizagens, comportamentos. Para tanto, a a&#231;&#227;o pedag&#243;gica &#233; pensada com foco em instigar a reflex&#227;o dos alunos e despert&#225;-los para o debate das quest&#245;es &#233;tnico-raciais. Os recursos midi&#225;ticos s&#227;o entendidos aqui como auxiliares e componentes das estrat&#233;gias pedag&#243;gicas utilizadas pelo professor em situa&#231;&#245;es de ensino e aprendizagem (rodas de leitura, autorretrato, an&#225;lise de fotos etc.). A parte pr&#225;tica da pesquisa foi desenvolvida em uma sala de aula de 1&#186;. ano da rede estadual, na cidade de S&#227;o Carlos, interior de S&#227;o Paulo. As ilustra&#231;&#245;es e di&#225;logos das crian&#231;as forneceram pontos que orientaram o trabalho. Observa-se, ao final, o papel do professor como principal mediador na desconstru&#231;&#227;o de preconceitos culturalmente enraizados.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article reports an experience related to racial theme in the school environment, specifically in the classroom. It understands that the pedagogical practice defines besides learning, behavior. Therefore, the pedagogical actions are focus on instigating reflection of the students and awaken them to the ethnic and racial issues. The media resources are understood here as auxiliary and components used teaching strategies (reading circles, self-portrait, photo analysis etc.). The practical part of the research was conducted in a 1st. year classroom in the inner of S&#227;o Paulo State, at S&#227;o Carlos city. The illustrations of children and the dialogues were important responses that have guided the work. It is observed at the end, the teacher&#8217;s role as the main mediator in the deconstruction of culturally ingrained prejudices.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Este art&#237;culo da cuenta de una experiencia relacionada con el tema racial en el entorno escolar, espec&#237;ficamente en el aula. Se entiende que la pr&#225;ctica pedag&#243;gica define adem&#225;s el aprendizaje, el comportamiento. Por lo tanto, se cree que la acci&#243;n pedag&#243;gica para centrarse en instigar la reflexi&#243;n de los alumnos y despertar a las cuestiones &#233;tnicas y raciales. Los recursos de los medios se entienden aqu&#237; como estrategias de ense&#241;anza auxiliares y componentes utilizados (c&#237;rculos de lectura, autorretrato, an&#225;lisis de fotograf&#237;as etc.). La parte pr&#225;ctica de la investigaci&#243;n se llev&#243; a cabo en un aula de 1 a&#241;o de el estado, la ciudad de S&#227;o Carlos, S&#227;o Paulo. Las ilustraciones de los ni&#241;os y los di&#225;logos fueron importantes respuestas que han guiado el trabajo. Se observa al final el papel del profesor como mediador principal en la deconstrucci&#243;n de prejuicios arraigados culturalmente.]]></p></abstract>
