Objetiva-se discutir sobre como os g&#234;neros influenciam na decis&#227;o profissional das adolescentes por segui rem carreiras e cursos de computa&#231;&#227;o a partir da Psicologia do desenvolvimento da carreira e do papel da autoefic&#225;cia. Este artigo apresenta a constru&#231;&#227;o da Escala de Autoefic&#225;cia em Tecno logias e Computa&#231;&#227;o para estudantes de ensino m&#233;dio e sua pilotagem com 14 alunas na qual observou-se uma baixa autoefic&#225;cia na tomada de decis&#227;o por cursos e nos conhecimentos de computa&#231;&#227;o pelas alunas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Understanding how self-efficacy in computer science is perceived by adolescents helps to un derstand the experiences they live, in pursuit of gender diversity in computing. This paper aims to discuss about how the genders could influen ce in the career choice of the adolescents from the view of the career development Psychology and the self-efficacy&#8217;s role. This article presents the construction of the self-efficacy scale in computer science and technologies for high school students and its validation through a pilot application with 14 female students. Pre liminary results show low self-efficacy in their higher education decision-making process and in their computer science knowledge.]]></p></abstract>
