Teve-se o objetivo de apresentar a trajetória institucional dos 10 anos da pós-graduação em educação na Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso (UNEMAT) na formação e habilitação de mestres em educação e o relevante papel dos docentes universitários para o seu fortalecimento. A partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental destaca-se a importância do programa para a formação dos sujeitos e o impacto social gerado pelas pesquisas desenvolvidas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article is an excerpt from a master's research completed in 2021. The objective was to present the institutional trajectory of the 10 years of the graduate degree in Education at the University of the State of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT) in the training and qualification of master&#8217;s in education and the relevant role of university professors in its strengthening. From a bibliographical and documental research, the importance of the program for the formation of the subjects and the social impact generated by the developed researches are highlighted.]]></p></abstract>
