Utilizou-se para a coleta de dados as pesquisas de Campo e Documental. O método para apreciação e análise foi o Materialismo Histórico Dialético. O contexto da pesquisa é o município de Alvarães/Am. Os resultados obtidos são: a) o menor índice da população permanente no campo de Alvarães varia entre os jovens de faixa etária de quinze a dezessete anos; b) 19% da população com idade escolar concluíram o Ensino Fundamental nesse município; c) 76 pesquisas encontradas entre teses e dissertações, nenhuma discutiu o fechamento das escolas multisseriadas no Amazonas. A contribuição desse texto é discutir no âmbito do Amazonas o fechamento das escolas do campo, uma vez que essa temática não tem sido debatida no Estado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The article aims to discuss the closure of multiseriated schools in the Amazon field. Field and Documentary research was used for data collection. The method for appreciation and analysis was Dialectical Historical Materialism. The context of the research is the municipality of Alvarães/Am. The results obtained are: a) the lowest rate of the permanent population in the field of Alvarães varies among young people aged fifteen to seventeen years; b) 19% of the population with school age completed elementary school in this municipality; c) 76 studies found among theses and dissertations, none discussed the closure of multiseriated schools in the Amazon. The contribution of this text is to discuss in the Amazon the closure of schools in the field, since this theme has not been discussed in the State.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: El artículo tiene como objetivo discutir el cierre de escuelas multiseriadas en el campo amazónico. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la investigación de campo y documental. El método de apreciación y análisis fue el Materialismo Histórico Dialéctico. El contexto de la investigación es el municipio de Alvarães/Am. Los resultados obtenidos son: a) la tasa más baja de la población permanente en el campo de Alvarães varía entre los jóvenes de quince a diecisiete años; b) el 19% de la población en edad escolar completó la escuela primaria en este municipio; c) 76 estudios encontrados entre tesis y disertaciones, ninguno discutió el cierre de escuelas multiseriadas en la Amazonía. El aporte de este texto es discutir en la Amazonía el cierre de escuelas en el campo, ya que este tema no ha sido discutido en el Estado.]]></p></abstract>
