Todavia observa-se que três tendências afetam diretamente seus avanços: 1) o baixo número de estudantes estrangeiros que escolhem a América Latina como local de estudos; 2) a carência de políticas estratégicas nacionais e institucionais para internacionalização das Instituições de Educação Superior; e 3) a escassez de recursos para o envio de estudantes locais para o exterior. Assim, faz-se necessário ampliar a perspectiva de mobilidade, buscando novas alternativas de internacionalização que atinjam um público mais amplo e tragam benefícios para a sociedade como um todo. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo compreender como a experiência de estudantes brasileiros que realizaram mobilidade foi aproveitada no contexto local de suas instituições de origem. A metodologia é caracterizada como qualitativa. Foram conduzidas entrevistas com estudantes de Instituições de Educação Superior privadas e as análises foram produzidas com princípios de Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD). Os resultados apontam para o interesse dos estudantes em compartilhar suas vivências e a atuação em projetos diferenciados e interdisciplinares adquiridos no exterior. Todavia observa-se a falta de estratégias organizacionais para a utilização das competências adquiridas pelos estudantes em suas experiências de mobilidade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Internationalization through mobility is dominant in the Latin American context. However, three trends affect directly their progress: 1) the small number of foreign students choosing Latin America as the place of study; 2) the lack of national and institutional strategic policies for internationalization of Higher Education Institutions, and 3) lack of resources for sending local students abroad. Thus, it&#8217;s necessary to broaden the perspective of mobility, seeking alternatives that reach a wider public and bring benefits to all society. This paper aims to understand how the experience of Brazilian students, who made mobility, was used in the local context of their home institutions. The methodology is characterized as qualitative. Interviews were conducted with students from private Higher Education Institutions and the analyses were produced with the principles of Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD). The results point to the students interest in sharing their experiences developed aboard. However, there is a lack of organizational strategies to use the skills acquired by students in their mobility experiences.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: La internacionalización a través de la movilidad es dominante en el contexto latinoamericano. Sin embargo, tres tendencias afectan directamente su progreso: 1) el bajo número de estudiantes extranjeros que eligen a América Latina como su lugar de estudio; 2) la falta de políticas estratégicas nacionales e institucionales para la internacionalización de las Instituciones de Educación Superior; y 3) falta de recursos para enviar estudiantes locales al extranjero. Por lo tanto, es necesario ampliar la perspectiva de la movilidad, buscando nuevas alternativas de internacionalización que lleguen a un público más amplio y traigan beneficios a la sociedad en su conjunto. Este artículo tiene como objetivo comprender cómo se utilizó la experiencia de los estudiantes brasileños que hicieron movilidad en el contexto local de sus instituciones de origen. La metodología se caracteriza como cualitativa. Las entrevistas se realizaron con estudiantes de Instituciones de Educación Superior privadas y los análisis se produjeron con los principios del Análisis Textual Discursivo (ATD). Los resultados apuntan al interés de los estudiantes en compartir sus experiencias, así como su desempeño en proyectos diferenciados e interdisciplinarios adquiridos en lo período de movilidad. Sin embargo, faltan estrategias organizativas para utilizar las habilidades adquiridas por los estudiantes en sus experiencias de movilidad.]]></p></abstract>
