Assume uma abordagem exploratória e quantitativa, por meio da aplicação da Análise Envoltória de Dados. Entre os resultados, observa- se que o desempenho das escolas analisadas poderia ser ampliado em até 22,6%, mantendo as mesmas características contextuais. Ademais, foram identificadas 18 unidades que podem ser assumidas como referências . Em sua maioria, estão localizadas na região central do Estado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to identify the Reference High Schools in Espírito Santo, considering the Ideb of these units and educational indicators of context assessment. This is an exploratory and quantitative study, through the application of Data Envelopment Analysis. As a result, it was observed that the performance of the analyzed schools can be increased to 22.6% above their current levels, maintaining the same contextual characteristics. In addition, 18 units were identified, which can be assumed as references, most of them located in the central region of the state.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar las Escuelas de Enseñanza Secundaria de Referencia en Espírito Santo, considerando el Ideb de estas unidades y los indicadores educativos de evaluación del contexto. Toma un enfoque exploratorio y cuantitativo, mediante la aplicación del Análisis Envolvente de Datos. Entre los resultados, se observa que el desempeño de las escuelas analizadas podría incrementarse hasta el 22,6%, manteniendo las mismas características contextuales. Además, se identificaron 18 unidades que se pueden asumir como referencias, la mayoría de las cuales se encuentran ubicadas en la región central del estado.]]></p></abstract>
