Para tanto, foi realizado um levantamento dos documentos na página oficial da Câmara dos Deputados, pesquisando projetos de leis (PL&#8217;s), tendo como buscadores os termos &#8220;Educação&#8221;, &#8220;Escola&#8221;, &#8220;Professores&#8221;. Trata-se de uma pesquisa crítico-dialética, pois, buscou compreender as condições materiais da existência social adotando um movimento dialético diante deste processo de conhecimento tendo a dimensão da prática social como ponto de chegada e partida. A partir disso, observou-se que os PL buscam, com uma leitura equivocada sobre o pensador brasileiro, diminuir a sua importância na educação brasileira.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this article is to analyze the bills in progress since 2019 that seek to revoke law no. 12,612 / 12, that gave Paulo Freire the title of &#8220;Patron of Brazilian Education&#8221;. To this end, a survey of documents was carried out on the official website of the Chamber of Deputies, researching draft laws (PL&#8217;s), with the search engine the words &#8220;education&#8221;, &#8220;school&#8221;, &#8220;Teacher&#8221;. It is a critical-dialectical research, as it seeks to understand the conditions of social existence by adopting a dialectical movement before this process of knowledge, having the measure of social practice as a point of arrival and departure. From this, it was observed that PLs seek, with a mistaken reading of the Brazilian thinker, to diminish its importance in Brazilian education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El propósito de este artículo es analizar los proyectos de ley en curso desde 2019 que buscan derogar la Ley n.º 12.612 / 12 que otorgó a Paulo Freire el título de Patrono de la Educación Brasileña. Para ello, se realizó un levantamiento de los documentos en la página oficial de la Cámara de Diputados, investigando anteproyectos de ley (PL&#8217;s), utilizando los términos &#8220;Educación&#8221;, &#8220;Escuela&#8221;, &#8220;Docentes&#8221; como buscadores. Desde una reflexión crítica y dialéctica, se observó que el PL busca, con una lectura errónea del pensador brasileño, reducir su importancia en la educación brasileña.]]></p></abstract>
