Após a estimação dos modelos de regressão logística com dados em painel, os resultados apontaram aumentos na oferta de instrumentos de acessibilidade após a implementação da lei 13.409/2016. Por outro lado, embora demostrem avanços, os resultados apresentados destacam a necessidade de ampliação da oferta de matérias e recursos e ajuda técnica para a inclusão efetiva de PcD nas IFES.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study aims to quantify the effects of Law 13.409/2016 on the provision of technical help and assistive technology for People with Disabilities (PwD) in Brazilian Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES). After estimating logistic regression models with panel data, the results indicated an increase in the availability of accessibility tools following the implementation of Law 13,409/2016. On the other hand, while demonstrating progress, the results underscore the need to expand the offering of subjects, resources, and technical assistance to effectively include PwD in IFES.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El objetivo de este estudio es cuantificar los efectos de la Ley 13.409/2016 sobre la provisión de ayuda técnica y tecnología de asistencia para Personas con Discapacidad (PcD) en las Instituciones Federales de Educación Superior (IFES) de Brasil. Después de estimar los modelos de regresión logística con datos de panel, los resultados mostraron un aumento en la disponibilidad de herramientas de accesibilidad después de la implementación de la Ley 13.409/2016. Por otro lado, aunque muestran avances, los resultados presentados resaltan la necesidad de ampliar la oferta de materias, recursos y asistencia técnica para lograr una inclusión efectiva de las PcD en las IFES.]]></p></abstract>
