Analisam-se dados primários e secundários com o objetivo de caracterizar as unidades escolares, os coordenadores pedagógicos, professores de apoio pedagógico e estudantes envolvidos, bem como entender o desenvolvimento do programa e fornecer subsídios para aprimorá-lo. Os resultados revelam uma relação positiva entre aprovação e recuperação de aprendizagens e entre reforço escolar e aumento da proficiência dos estudantes. O presente estudo confirma em larga escala tendências apontadas por outros estudos, tais como a maior participação de estudantes do sexo masculino, negros e mais pobres nas turmas de recuperação, e indica a necessidade de a SME prestar maior apoio às escolas e seus profissionais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper presents the main results of a research about a parallel recovery project for the elementary school conducted between 2018 and 2020, in partnership with the Secretaria Municipal de Educação [Department of Education] of the city of São Paulo (Brazil), using the Patio Digital platform. Primary and secondary data are analyzed to characterize its participants (school units, pedagogical coordinators, pedagogical support teachers and students), seeking to understand its application and development of the project, and to provide public managers with information on how to improve it. The results reveal a positive relationship between approval and learning recovery and between school reinforcement and increased student proficiency. The present research confirms on a large scale trends pointed out by other studies, such as the greater participation of male, Black and poorer students in recovery classes, and indicates the need for the Department of Education to provide greater support to schools and their professionals.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El articulo presenta algunos resultados de investigación sobre un proyecto de recuperación paralela en la educación primaria, realizada entre 2018 y 2020, en alianza con la Secretaría Municipal de Educación de São Paulo (Brasil), a través de la plataforma Pátio Digital. Analisa datos primarios y secundarios, con el fin de caracterizar a los participantes (unidades escolares, coordinadores pedagógicos, docentes de apoyo pedagógico y estudiantes), comprender la aplicación y desarrollo del proyecto y ofrecer subsidios para su mejora. Los resultados revelan una relación positiva entre la aprobación y recuperación de los aprendizajes y entre el refuerzo escolar y el aumento de la competencia de los estudiantes. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé Cet article présente les principaux résultats d&#8217;une recherche menée en collaboration avec la Secretaria Municipal de Educação [Bureau de l&#8217;Éducation] de la ville de São Paulo (Brésil) entre 2018 et 2020 pour évaluer le programme de soutien scolaire pour l&#8217;éducation primaire, à l&#8217;appui de la plateforme numérique Pátio Digital. Des bases de données sécondaires et empiriques ont été analysées pour caractériser les participants du projet (écoles, coordinateurs pédagogiques, enseignants et étudiants), pour connaître le développement du programme et pour offrir des indications pour l&#8217;améliorer. Les résultats révèlent des rélations positives entre soutien scolaire et réussite aussi bien qu&#8217;avec rendement des étudiants. L&#8217;étude confirme quelques tendances signalées par des études précédentes, à savoir, la plus grande présence de garçons les plus pauvres et noirs dans les cours de soutien scolaire et indiquent la necessité d&#8217;un soutien plus effectif de la Secretaria de Educação.]]></p></abstract>
