Se revisan los alcances que para la docencia -como actividad fundamental del quehacer escolar- posee el fenómeno y la trascendencia de las estrategias gubernamentales de atención. El estudio de tipo cualitativo exploratorio se basa en entrevistas a docentes de escuelas particulares subvencionadas de la región del Maule. El análisis evidencia el pensamiento y las dinámicas docentes, identificando diversos nudos críticos, que de atenderse incidirían en la disminución de la problemática. Finalmente, se formulan propuestas de política que brindan orientación y apoyo al actuar docente en los centros educativos.]]></p></abstract>

São revistos os alcances do fenômeno e da transcendência das estratégias governamentais de atenção para a docência - como atividade fundamental das atividades escolares. O estudo qualitativo exploratório é baseado em entrevistas a professores de escolas particulares subvencionadas da região de Maule. A análise evidencia o pensamento e as dinâmicas docentes, identificando diversos pontos críticos, que no caso de serem atendidos incidiriam na diminuição da problemática. Finalmente, são formuladas propostas políticas que oferecem orientação e apoio à ação docente nos centros educativos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract For more than a decade, Chile has been promoting public policies to reduce school violence, especially in the dimension identified as violence perpetrated by the school system itself. The scope of the phenomenon and the transcendence of the government&#8217;s attention strategies for teaching - as an essential activity of school activities - are reviewed. This exploratory qualitative study is based on interviews with teachers from subsidized private schools in the Maule region. The analysis highlights the thinking and dynamics of teachers, identifying various critical points which, if addressed, would reduce the problem. Finally, policy proposals are formulated to provide guidance and support for teaching in educational centers.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé Depuis plus d&#8217;une décennie, le Chili promeut des politiques publiques pour réduire les manifestations de violence scolaire, en particulier la dimension identifiée comme violence de l&#8217;école. Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un travail de révision sur la portée de ce phénomène pour les enseignants qui considèrent ce thème une activité fondamentale de leur travail scolaire bien que l&#8217;importance des stratégies gouvernementales d&#8217;attention. L&#8217;étude, de type qualitatif et exploratoire, se base sur des entretiens avec des enseignants d&#8217;écoles privées sous contrat d&#8217;association de la région de Maule. L&#8217;analyse souligne la pensée et les dynamiques des enseignants et identifie plusieurs points critiques qui, si résolus, pourraient avoir un impact bénéfique sur la réduction du problème. Enfin, des propositions politiques sont formulées pour guider et soutenir les actions des enseignants dans les établissements scolaires.]]></p></abstract>
