El autor distingue este análisis de las producciones teóricas y de las investigaciones empíricas, resaltando la importancia de comprender los conceptos utilizados por la teoría psicológica, así como su gramática y consistencia argumentativa. Concluye que las investigaciones poseen una &#8220;doble faz&#8221;, en la cual la especificidad epistémica de las interacciones establecidas a lo largo del desarrollo debe ser reflexionada a la luz de las condiciones sociales externas, defendiendo que la objetividad del conocimiento depende crucialmente del carácter social de la investigación y de la consideración de los valores que orientan las prácticas metodológicas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este artigo analisa os estudos metateóricos realizados nas últimas duas décadas, em psicologia do desenvolvimento. O autor distingue essa análise das produções teóricas e das investigações empíricas, ressaltando a importância de compreender os conceitos utilizados pela teoria psicológica, assim como sua gramática e consistência argumentativa. Conclui que as pesquisas possuem uma &#8220;dupla face&#8221;, na qual a especificidade epistêmica das interações estabelecidas ao longo do desenvolvimento deve ser refletida à luz das condições sociais externas, defendendo que a objetividade do conhecimento depende crucialmente do caráter social da investigação e da consideração dos valores que orientam as práticas metodológicas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article analyzes metatheoretical studies conducted over the past two decades in developmental psychology. The author differentiates this analysis from theoretical productions and empirical investigations, emphasizing the importance of understanding the concepts used in psychological theory, as well as its grammar and argumentative consistency. The author concludes that research exhibits a &#8220;dual nature&#8221;, in which the epistemic specificity of interactions established throughout development must be considered in light of external social conditions. He argues that the objectivity of knowledge depends crucially on the social nature of the investigation and the consideration of values that guide methodological practices.]]></p></abstract>

L&#8217;auteur distingue cette analyse des productions théoriques et investigations empiriques et souligne l&#8217;importance de comprendre les concepts utilisés par la théorie psychologique ainsi que la grammaire et la cohérence argumentative de cette dernière.
