Trata-se de um estudo de casos múltiplos, em que, entre eles, um caso único foi analisado. Os instrumentos de coleta de dados foram a observação descritiva, a análise documental e entrevistas com sujeitos envolvidos na construção dessas experiências. Os resultados encontrados nos ajudaram a compreender desafios e possibilidades para a participação das comunidades na formação de professores da educação básica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article is based on empirical research which, through the systematic monitoring of proposals for building hybrid spaces for teacher education at Monash University, Australia, is part of a broader project aimed at analyzing the role, if any, of community knowledge in the education of basic education teachers. This is a multiple case study in which a single case was analyzed. Data collection instruments included descriptive observation, document analysis, and interviews with individuals involved in the development of these experiences. The findings helped us to understand both the challenges and possibilities for community participation in basic education teacher education.]]></p></abstract>

Se trata de un estudio de casos múltiples en el que, entre ellos, se analizó un único caso. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron la observación descriptiva, el análisis documental y las entrevistas a sujetos involucrados en la construcción de esas experiencias. Los resultados encontrados nos ayudaron a comprender los desafíos y posibilidades para la participación de las comunidades en la formación de profesores de la educación básica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé Cet article est basé sur une recherche empirique qui, à travers l&#8217;accompagnement systématique de propositions visant la construction d&#8217;espaces hybrides pour la formation enseignante à l&#8217;Université Monash, en Australie, fait partie d&#8217;un projet plus large dont l&#8217;objet est d&#8217;analyser si les savoirs communautaires jouent un rôle, et si oui lequel, dans la formation des enseignants de l&#8217;éducation de base. Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une étude de cas multiples dont un seul cas est ici analysé. Les outils de collecte des données ont été l&#8217;observation descriptive, l&#8217;analyse documentaire ainsi que des entretiens avec des personnes engagées dans le processus de construction de ces expériences. Les résultats obtenus ont permis de comprendre les défis et les possibilités de la participation communautaire dans la formation des enseignants de l&#8217;éducation de base.]]></p></abstract>
