A previsão pressupõe uma visão a priori do futuro da criança. A prevenção visa, no quadro de políticas inclusivas, à ancoragem em ambientes ordinários de vida, respeitando a singularidade do desenvolvimento de cada criança, e à promoção de condições de acolhimento e educação favoráveis para todas as crianças, sejam elas quais forem. A perspectiva da educação inclusiva envolve a adaptação das instituições educativas comuns à diversidade das crianças e a superação das barreiras às aprendizagens. Uma pesquisa europeia sobre educação inclusiva desde a primeira infância demonstra as condições favoráveis às práticas inclusivas em educação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Early intervention is a set of multidisciplinary actions aimed at children aged 0 to 6 who show signs of or are at risk for various disabilities. Forecasting presupposes an a priori vision of the child&#8217;s future. Prevention, within the framework of inclusive policies, seeks to anchor children in ordinary life environments, respecting the uniqueness of each child&#8217;s development, and to promote avorable conditions for the care and education of all children, regardless of their circumstances. The perspective of inclusive education involves adapting mainstream educational institutions to children&#8217;s diversity and overcoming barriers to learning. A European study on inclusive education from early childhood demonstrates the favorable conditions for inclusive educational practices.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen La intervención temprana es un conjunto de acciones multidisciplinares dirigidas a niños de 0 a 6 años que presentan signos o riesgos de diversas discapacidades. La predicción presupone una visión a priori del futuro del niño. La prevención busca, en el marco de políticas inclusivas, integrar a los niños en entornos de vida ordinarios, respetando la singularidad del desarrollo de cada niño, y la promoción de condiciones favorables de acogida y educación para todos, sean cuales sean. La perspectiva de la educación inclusiva implica la adaptación de las instituciones educativas comunes a la diversidad de los niños y la superación de las barreras de aprendizaje. Una investigación europea sobre la educación inclusiva desde la primera infancia demuestra las condiciones favorables para las prácticas inclusivas en la educación.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé L&#8217;intervention précoce concerne un ensemble d&#8217;actions pluridisciplinaires envisageant des enfants de 0 a 6 ans qui présentent des signes ou des risques des handicaps les plus divers. La prévision suppose uma vision a priori de l&#8217;avenir de l&#8217;enfant. Dans le cadre des politiques d&#8217;inclusion, la prévention a pour but l&#8217;ancrage à des environnements ordinaires de la vie, en respectant la singularité du developpement de chaque enfant, et la promotion des conditions favorables d&#8217;accueil et d&#8217;éducation à tous les enfants, quels qu&#8217;ils soient. La perspective de l&#8217;éducation inclusive comprend l&#8217;adaptation des institutions éducationnelles ordinaires à la diversité des enfants, et le franchissement des barrières à l&#8217;apprentissage. Une étude européenne sur l&#8217;éducation inclusive dès la petite enfance montre les conditions favorables aux pratiques inclusives en éducation.]]></p></abstract>
