Para isso, foi feito um levantamento de artigos científicos do Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes). Como método, adotou-se a análise de conteúdo. Os resultados mostraram a prevalência de pesquisadores de instituições nordestinas e de estudos feitos no Nordeste; pesquisas não restritas ao espaço escolar; e temas ligados à prática pedagógica, à educação ambiental e às políticas públicas. A educação contextualizada é vista como educação popular, e a convivência com o Semiárido traz uma nova visão sobre o território, considerando os aspectos humanos e sociais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of this study was to outline the profile of academic production on contextualized education for coexisting with the Brazilian Semiarid region. To this end, a survey of scientific articles was carried out on the Periodical Portal of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior [Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel] (Capes). Content analysis was adopted as the methodological approach. The results showed the predominance of researchers from Northeastern institutions and studies carried out in the Northeast; research not restricted to school settings; and themes related to pedagogical practice, environmental education and public policies. Contextualized education is seen as a form of popular education, and coexisting with the Semiarid region offers a renewed perspective on the territory, considering its human and social aspects.]]></p></abstract>

Para ello se realizó un levantamiento de artículos científicos en el Portal Periódico de la Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior [Coordinación de Perfeccionamiento del Personal de Educación Superior] (Capes). Como método se adoptó el análisis de contenido. Los resultados mostraron la prevalencia de investigadores de instituciones nororientales y de estudios realizados en el Nordeste; investigación no restringida al espacio escolar; y temas vinculados a la práctica pedagógica, la educación ambiental y las políticas públicas. La educación contextualizada es vista como educación popular y la convivencia con el Semiárido trae una nueva visión del territorio, considerando los aspectos humanos y sociales.]]></p></abstract>

A cet effet, une enquête auprès des articles scientifiques a été réalisée sur le Portail Périodique de la Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior [Coordination pour le Perfectionnement des Personnels de l&#8217;Enseignement Supérieur] (Capes). Comme méthode, l&#8217;analyse de contenu a été adoptée. Les résultats ont montré la prédominance des chercheurs des institutions du Nord-Est et des études réalisées dans le Nord-Est ; des recherches non limitées à l&#8217;espace scolaire ; et des thèmes liés à la pratique pédagogique, à l&#8217;éducation environnementale et aux politiques publiques.
