Busca entender como as teorias do autor contribuem com a escolariza&#231;&#227;o de alunos com defici&#234;ncia, com transtornos globais do desenvolvimento e com altas habilidades/superdota&#231;&#227;o na escola. Traz conceitos centrais do pensamento do autor e aproxima&#231;&#245;es que podem ser feitas com os pressupostos da Educa&#231;&#227;o Especial na perspectiva da inclus&#227;o escolar e apresenta uma experi&#234;ncia de forma&#231;&#227;o continuada com professores da Educa&#231;&#227;o B&#225;sica para reflex&#227;o cr&#237;tica das implica&#231;&#245;es dos curr&#237;culos escolares na escolariza&#231;&#227;o de alunos apoiados pela Educa&#231;&#227;o Especial.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  This study aims to bring together special education and the production by Boaventura de Sousa Santos. It seeks to understand how the author&#8217;s theories contributed to the education of children with disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders, and high-potential/giftedness in regular schools. We analyze major concepts of the author&#8217;s thoughts and how they can be approached regarding premises of special education from the perspective of school inclusion. Also, we present an experiment of continuing education carried out with elementary education teachers to rethink the implication of school curricula for special education students. ]]></p></abstract>
