Vislumbra-se, inclusive, a possibilidade de enfeixar-se as noções fundamentais a serem apresentadas utilizando-se uma máquina virtual de custo zero - a Máquina de Post. Tal modelo serve para que se aprenda o significado da utilização dos computadores de uma maneira absolutamente geral, prescindindo-se até de equipamentos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The questions of introducing microelectronics as a discipline in the curriculum of the basic school is analysed from a standpoint that distinguishes the foundations on this discipline from learning the techniques of handling equipments of any kind. The possibility of encourpassing the fundamental notions of microelectronics with the use of a no-cost virtual machine - the Post machine - is presented. Such model may be employed to present computers in an absolutely general way, even making the use of equipments unnecessary.]]></p></abstract>
