Para tanto, debruça-se sobre sociedades orais e sociedades escritas, relacionando modos de conhecimento a maneiras de exercício do poder. Concluí afirmando que se, a escola está em crise e pode vir a desaparecer como instituição social, é porque a forma escolar de socialização é hoje hegemônica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The article aims discuss the concept of school shape, through a social and historical approach, focusing the constitution of primary school in France. It questions the idea of a schooling model. To do so, it analysis oral and written societies, relating their knowledge to their exercise of power. Finally, the article claims that if the school is at a turning point it’s not because its end is close, but because the school shape had spread all over the social institutions.]]></p></abstract>
