As mesmas foram agrupadas em cinco blocos: críticas ao caráter homogeneizador do modelo, críticas ao quantitativismo e produtivismo, críticas à ausência - e propostas de introdução - de indicadores do alcance social das atividades dos Programas, inserção internacional e conseqüências da avaliação. Em cada um dos blocos essas críticas e sugestões foram exemplificadas e confrontadas com estudos já existentes sobre o tema e com documentos oficiais da CAPES.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Criticisms and suggestions provided to CAPES (The National Council for the Improvement of Higher Education) by the coordinators of Graduate Programs, from all fields, in the computer program “Coleta CAPES / 2004”, were the primary source for this article. The information collected was divided into five groups: criticisms of the homogenizing nature of the model; criticisms of the emphasis on quantity and productivity; criticisms of the absence of indicators for social indicators for the Programs’ activities and proposals to introduce these indicators; international insertion and consequences of the assessment. In each of the groups, these criticisms and suggestions were exemplified and compared with previous studies about the same subject and with official documents from CAPES.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Para la elaboración de este artículo, utilizamos como fuente primaria las críticas y sugestiones encaminadas a la Coordinación de Perfeccionamiento de Personal en Nivel Superior (CAPES), por los coordinadores de los Programas de Postgrado de todas las áreas, en la ColetaCapes de 2004. Las mismas fueron agrupadas en cinco bloques: críticas al carácter homogenizador del modelo, críticas a la visión cuantitativa y productivista, críticas a la ausencia - y propuestas de introducción - de indicadores del alcance social de las actividades de los Programas, inserción internacional y consecuencias de la evaluación.
