Trabalha com o referencial te&#243;rico-metodol&#243;gico que embasa a an&#225;lise da rela&#231;&#227;o p&#250;blico-privada e problematiza as parcerias entre escolas e institui&#231;&#245;es privadas para a democratiza&#231;&#227;o da educa&#231;&#227;o p&#250;blica no Brasil. Para isso, verifica a parceria entre sistemas p&#250;blicos de educa&#231;&#227;o b&#225;sica e o Instituto Ayrton Senna, no intuito de analisar as implica&#231;&#245;es para a democratiza&#231;&#227;o da educa&#231;&#227;o, a partir da ades&#227;o ao Programa Gest&#227;o Nota 10. Na sequ&#234;ncia, analisa as rela&#231;&#245;es entre esse per&#237;odo particular do capitalismo e a inser&#231;&#227;o do privado na educa&#231;&#227;o p&#250;blica, com a minimiza&#231;&#227;o de direitos materializados em pol&#237;ticas sociais, redefinindo a concep&#231;&#227;o de democracia. O privado passa a ser o par&#226;metro de qualidade, situa&#231;&#227;o que cria o que muitos autores denominam de gerencialismo. Em termos gerais, concluiu-se que os sistemas de ensino passaram a definir suas atividades de acordo com as determina&#231;&#245;es do Instituto, tanto na &#225;rea de gest&#227;o como na &#225;rea pedag&#243;gica, com implica&#231;&#245;es para o processo de constru&#231;&#227;o da democracia nas escolas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article presents research results on the partnership between Instituto Ayrton Senna and elementary schools. It points out the theoretical-methodological bases to the publicprivate relationship analysis and problematizes the partnerships between schools and private institutions for the democratization of public education in Brazil. In order to do so, it analyses the partnership between public systems of basic education and the Instituto Ayrton Senna with the purpose of verifying the implications for the democratization of education, following accession to the Gest&#227;o Nota 10 program. It then goes on to analyze relations between this particular period of capitalism and the insertion of the private in public education, with the minimization of rights materialized in social policies, redefining the concept of democracy. The private becomes the quality parameter, a situation that creates what many authors call Managerialism. In general terms, it was concluded that school systems define their activities according to the determinations of the Institute, both in the area of management as well as in the pedagogical area, with implications for the process of building democracy in schools.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este art&#237;culo presenta los resultados de la investigaci&#243;n acerca de la alianza entre el Instituto Ayrton Senna y escuelas de ense&#241;anza primaria. Enfoca el referencial te&#243;ricometodol&#243;gico subyacente al an&#225;lisis de la relaci&#243;n p&#250;blica-privada y problematiza las alianzas entre las escuelas y las instituciones privadas para la democratizaci&#243;n de la educaci&#243;n p&#250;blica en Brasil. Para esto investiga la alianza entre sistemas p&#250;blicos de educaci&#243;n b&#225;sica y el Instituto Ayrton Senna, con el intuito de analizar las implicaciones para la democratizaci&#243;n de la educaci&#243;n, a partir de la adhesi&#243;n al Programa Gesti&#243;n Nota 10. En la secuencia, analiza las relaciones entre este periodo particular del capitalismo y la inserci&#243;n de lo privado en la educaci&#243;n p&#250;blica, con la minimizaci&#243;n de los derechos materializados en pol&#237;ticas sociales, redefiniendo la concepci&#243;n de la democracia. Lo privado pasa a ser el par&#225;metro de calidad, situaci&#243;n que crea lo que muchos autores denominan de gerencialismo. En t&#233;rminos generales, se concluye que los sistemas de ense&#241;anza llegaron a definir sus actividades de acuerdo con las determinaciones del Instituto, tanto en &#225;rea de gesti&#243;n como en el &#225;rea pedag&#243;gica, con implicaciones en el proceso de construcci&#243;n de la democracia en las escuelas.]]></p></abstract>
