O m&#233;todo de investiga&#231;&#227;o, organizado em tr&#234;s momentos, constituiu-se de: (a) localizar, entre todos os Institutos Federais de Educa&#231;&#227;o, Ci&#234;ncia e Tecnologia do Brasil, os cursos objeto da pesquisa; (b) analisar os ordenamentos das institui&#231;&#245;es ofertantes destes cursos; (c) analisar, cotejar e refletir, por meio da an&#225;lise ideogr&#225;fica e nomot&#233;tica, o curr&#237;culo como fen&#244;meno em quest&#227;o. A partir das an&#225;lises realizadas, foram observadas experi&#234;ncias curriculares valorosas para a forma&#231;&#227;o de professores; entretanto, foram assinaladas fragilidades na elabora&#231;&#227;o, na execu&#231;&#227;o, na compreens&#227;o e na relev&#226;ncia do curr&#237;culo para a forma&#231;&#227;o de professores por meio da modalidade de Educa&#231;&#227;o a Dist&#226;ncia, uma vez que o curr&#237;culo denota um processo de reflex&#227;o sist&#234;mica que, demarcado por tomada de decis&#245;es e compromissos pol&#237;ticos, ancora-se em referenciais de diferentes tempos e espa&#231;os, ordens e percep&#231;&#245;es.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article analyzes the relation between what is declared and what is practiced in the curriculum in teacher accreditation courses at a distance in the natural sciences and mathematics at Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology in Brazil. The investigative method involved three moments: (a) to identify among all the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology of Brazil, the courses within the scope of this study; (b) to analyze the regulations at the institutions that offer these courses; and, (c) to use ideographic and nomothetic analysis to analyze, compare and reflect on curriculum as the phenomenon in question. Classroom experiences that are important to teacher education were observed, however, weaknesses were identified in the elaboration, implementation, comprehension and relevance of the curriculum for teacher education through the distance education mode, given that the curriculum denotes a process of systemic reflection, which marked by decision-making and political commitments, is based on references from different times and spaces, orders and perceptions.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este art&#237;culo se analiza la relaci&#243;n entre lo manifiesto y lo activo en los planes de estudio de los cursos de profesorado en ciencias naturales y las matem&#225;ticas en la modalidad de educaci&#243;n a distancia en los Institutos Federales de Educaci&#243;n, Ciencia y Tecnolog&#237;a de Brasil. El m&#233;todo de investigaci&#243;n, est&#225; organizado en tres etapas, y consisti&#243; en: (a) localizar, entre todos los Institutos Federales de Educaci&#243;n, Ciencia y Tecnolog&#237;a de Brasil, el objeto de los cursos de investigaci&#243;n; (B) analizar los sistemas jur&#237;dicos de las instituciones que ofrecen estos cursos; y, (c) analizar, cotejar y reflexionar, a trav&#233;s de la ideogr&#225;fica y an&#225;lisis nomot&#233;tico, el plan de estudios como fen&#243;meno en cuesti&#243;n. A partir de los an&#225;lisis, se observaron valiosas experiencias en el aula para la formaci&#243;n docente; sin embargo, se pusieron de relieve las debilidades en el dise&#241;o, la implementaci&#243;n, la comprensi&#243;n y la pertinencia del plan de estudios para la formaci&#243;n del profesorado a trav&#233;s de la modalidad de Educaci&#243;n a Distancia, ya que el plan de estudios indica un proceso de reflexi&#243;n sist&#233;mica, que al estar demarcado por la toma de decisiones y compromisos pol&#237;ticos, est&#225; anclado en las referencias de diferentes tiempos y espacios, &#243;rdenes y percepciones.]]></p></abstract>
