A efetivação do estudo em questão foi realizada no segundo semestre de 2015, no qual foi utilizado um questionário com questões abertas, contemplando duas turmas do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental do período matutino de uma escola localizada na periferia do município de Londrina-PR. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, de abordagem crítico-dialética, cuja análise e reflexões foram pautadas em autores que se apoiaram na perspectiva histórico-crítica, ou seja, Vygotsky (2008), Luria (1978), Leontiev (2004), Arena (2010), entre outros. No aspecto geral, foi possível constatar que os sujeitos participantes consideram a leitura fundamental para o processo de formação humana e profissional. Entretanto, torna-se necessário oferecer espaços de leitura e metodologias apropriadas para que os alunos possam desenvolver o ato de ler de forma crítica e humanizadora.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study aims to identify and analyze the conceptions and reading practices of 9th grade students, in order to reflect the reality and the possibilities for the improvement of the reading act in the school context. The study was carried out in the second half of 2015, in which a questionnaire was used with open questions, including two classes from the 9th grade of Elementary School in the morning shifr of a school located in the outskirts of Londrina-PR. It is a qualitative research, with a critical-dialectic approach, whose analysis and reflections were based on authors who supported themselves in the historical-critical perspective, i.e. Vygotsky (2008), Lúria (1978), Leontiev (2004), Arena (2010), among others. In the general aspect, it was possible to verify that the participants consider the reading fundamental for the human and professional formation process. However, it is necessary to provide appropriate reading spaces and methodologies so that students can develop the reading act in a critical and humanizing way.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar y analizar las concepciones y prácticas de lectura de los alumnos del 9º año, con el fin de reflejar la realidad y las posibilidades para la mejora del acto de leer en el contexto escolar. El estudio en cuestión fue realizado en el segundo semestre de 2015, en el cual se utilizó un cuestionario con preguntas abiertas, contemplando dos clases del 9º año de la Enseñanza Fundamental del período matutino de una escuela ubicada en la periferia del municipio de Londrina-PR, Brasil. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa, de abordaje crítico-dialéctico, cuyo análisis y reflexiones realizadas fueron pautadas en autores que se apoyaron en la perspectiva histórico-cultural, o sea, Vygotsky (2008), Lúria (1978), Leontiev (2004), (2010), entre otros. En el aspecto general, fue posible constatar que los sujetos participantes consideran la lectura fundamental para el proceso de formación humana y profesional. Sin embargo, es necesario ofrecer espacios de lectura y metodologías apropiadas para que los alumnos puedan desarrollar el acto de leer de forma crítica y humanizadora.]]></p></abstract>
