Nesse sentido, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar os efeitos de uma pr&#225;tica interventiva denominada Experi&#234;ncia de Aprendizagem Mediada (EAM), implementada por uma professora, no desempenho acad&#234;mico e social de um aluno com TEA matriculado em uma turma de 4o ano do Ensino Fundamental. Um delineamento de pesquisa quase experimental intrassujeito indicou aumento na frequ&#234;ncia de ocorr&#234;ncia de comportamentos mediadores da professora e avan&#231;os no desempenho acad&#234;mico e social do aluno ap&#243;s a implementa&#231;&#227;o da EAM.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract One of the main challenges encountered in educating students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in regular schools is identifying effective teaching practices. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of an interventional practice entitled Mediated Learning Experience (MLE), implemented by a teacher, in the academic and social performance of a student with ASD enrolled in the fourth grade class. A single subject quasi-experimental research design indicated increased frequency of teacher mediating behavior and advances in the student&#180;s academic and social achievement following the EAM intervention.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Uno de los principales problemas encontrados en la educaci&#243;n de los alumnos con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) en las escuelas regulares es la identificaci&#243;n de las pr&#225;cticas de ense&#241;anza eficaces. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar los efectos de una pr&#225;ctica intervencionista titulado Experiencia de Aprendizaje Mediado (EAM), ejecutado por un profesor, en el rendimiento acad&#233;mico y social de un alumno con TEA matriculado en la clase de cuarto grado. Un dise&#241;o cuasi-experimental indic&#243; aumento de la frecuencia de la conducta mediadora da maestro y los avances en el desarrollo acad&#233;mico y social del alumno despu&#233;s de la intervenci&#243;n EAM.]]></p></abstract>
