Analisamos o Enade e o Enem, suas finalidades e efeitos &#224;s organiza&#231;&#245;es educacionais. Para tal, examinamos curr&#237;culos de Qu&#237;mica em escolas de ensino m&#233;dio da rede p&#250;blica estadual e em um curso de Licenciatura em Qu&#237;mica de uma universidade p&#250;blica federal, do Rio Grande do Sul, bem como analisamos mat&#233;rias jornal&#237;sticas, publicidade e an&#250;ncios comerciais que noticiam e comentam os processos de avalia&#231;&#227;o e seus resultados, buscando ver como se processam os discursos que associam os resultados desses Exames com qualidade em educa&#231;&#227;o. O trabalho mostra a dimens&#227;o dessas avalia&#231;&#245;es na atualidade, definindo curr&#237;culos, produzindo significados em discursos que classificam institui&#231;&#245;es e os sujeitos que nelas est&#227;o inseridos e instituindo posi&#231;&#245;es em rankings, sem considerar qualitativamente aspectos e fatores que influenciam os resultados quantitativos obtidos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this article, we discuss evaluations in large scale in Brazil and discourses that associate their results with the quality in education, as well as analyze the role of the media in this "indicative". We look especially at the ENADE (in Portuguese, Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes) and ENEM (in Portuguese, Exame Nacional do Ensino M&#233;dio), their purpose and effects to educational organizations. So, we analyzed chemistry curricula of four public high schools and in a Chemistry Teaching degree from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. We analyzed, as well, media productions: media materials, advertising and commercial ads that report and comment about evaluation process and its results, seeking to see how they process the speeches that associate the results of large-scale assessments with quality in education. The work shows the dimension of these evaluations today, defining curricula, producing meanings in discourses that classify institutions and the subjects that are inserted in them and instituting positions in rankings, without qualitatively considering aspects and factors that influence the obtained quantitative results.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este art&#237;culo, discutimos las evaluaciones en gran escala en Brasil y los discursos que asocian sus resultados com la calidad de la educaci&#243;n, as&#237; como analizan el papel de los m&#233;dios en esta "calidad". Analizamos la ENADE y ENEM, su prop&#243;sito y efectos em las organizaciones educativas. Para ello, nos mira curr&#237;culos de qu&#237;mica em colegios de la red p&#250;blica y enun curso de licenciatura en qu&#237;mica de un federal Universidad de Rio Grande do Sul. As&#237; como materiales period&#237;sticos, an&#250;ncios publicitarios y comerciales que anuncian sobre el proceso de evaluaci&#243;n y sus resultados mirando a ver c&#243;mo procesan los discursos que se combinan los resultados de estas pruebas con una educaci&#243;n de calidad. El trabajo muestra el alcance de estos comentarios en la actualidad, que definen los planes de estudio, la producci&#243;n de significados en los discursos que clasifican a las instituciones y se insertan los individuos en ellos y que se determinen posiciones en el ranking, sin tener en cuenta los aspectos cualitativos y factores que influyen en los resultados cuantitativos obtenidos.]]></p></abstract>
