O delineamento metodológico se caracterizou na pesquisa bibliográfica, assumindo uma abordagem qualitativa nas análises conceituais e filosóficas. Disso, resultou a percepção de que a máxima do &#8220;conhece-te a ti mesmo&#8221; contribuiu para a decadência cultural e originou uma consciência gregária e um espírito de rebanhos. Por sua vez, Nietzsche propõe o inverso: &#8220;tornar-se o que se é&#8221; como uma tragédia educativa no sentido de encarar a vida, como um saber de si e de um querer-se diferente, tratando-se da plena realização do ser humano. Conclui-se que o caminho para uma transformação da Bildung ocorre a partir da máxima do &#8220;tornar-se o que se é&#8221; como condição para o surgimento dos espíritos livres que conquistaram a si próprios por uma formação da autoeducação ou do cultivo de si.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article reflects a classic problem, from the maxim of &#8220;know thyself&#8221;, described in the Oracle of Delphi, and the imperative &#8220;become who you are&#8221; written by Píndaro. The methodological design was characterized in bibliographic research, taking on a qualitative approach in conceptual and philosophical analyzes. From this, resulted the perception that the maxim of &#8220;become who you are&#8221; contributed to cultural decay and gave rise to a gregarious conscience and a spirit-conscious herd. In turn, Nietzsche proposes the reverse: &#8220;become who you are&#8221; as an educational tragedy in the sense of facing life, as a knowledge of oneself and a different will of oneself, in terms of the full realization of human being. We conclude that the path to a transformation of Bildung occurs from the maxim of &#8220;become who you are&#8221; as a condition for the emergence of free spirits that conquered themselves through a formation of self-education or self-cultivation.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este artículo tratase de una problemática clásica que viene de la máxima do &#8220;conócete a ti mismo&#8221;, descrita en el Oráculo del Delfos, y del imperativo &#8220;tornarse lo que se es&#8221; escrito por Píndaro. El delineamento metodológico se caracterizó por la investigación bibliográfica, desde un enfoque cualitativo en las análisis conceptuales y filosóficos. Esto dio como resultado la percepción de que la máxima &#8220;conócete a ti mismo&#8221; contribuyó para la decadencia cultural y ha originado una consciencia gregaria y un espíritu de rebaños. A su vez, Nietzsche propone el inverso: &#8220;tornarse lo que se es&#8221; como una estrategia educativa en el sentido de encarar a la vida como un saber de sí mismo y de un quererse distinto, en términos de la plena realización del ser humano. Se concluye que el camino para una transformación de la Bildung ocurre desde la máxima del &#8220;tornarse lo que se es&#8221; como condición para la aparición de los espíritus libres que conquistaron a sí mismos a través de una formación de autoeducación o del cultivo de sí.]]></p></abstract>
