Utilizaram-se microdados do Censo Escolar de 2017 e 2019 e empregou-se a Análise Fatorial. Diante dos resultados, recomenda-se a implementação de políticas que visem a melhorias nas estruturas de apoio, atividades extraclasse e aparelhamento eletrônico. Constatou-se que escolas rurais ainda requerem maior atenção das políticas públicas e que, entre as mesorregiões, o Sudeste Paranaense carece de maior atenção quanto à infraestrutura de suas escolas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Se verificó cómo se distribuye la infraestructura en las escuelas públicas de educación básica o media en Paraná y qué aspectos necesitan una mayor atención de los formuladores de políticas públicas, ya que la infraestructura escolar puede influir en el desempeño de los estudiantes y, por consiguiente, en el capital humano y el crecimiento económico. Se utilizaron microdatos del Censo Escolar de los años de 2017 y 2019 y se utilizó el Análisis Factorial. En vista de los resultados, se recomienda la implantación de políticas que se destinan a mejorar las estructuras de apoyo, las actividades extracurriculares y los equipos electrónicos. Se constató que las escuelas rurales aún requieren mayor atención de las políticas públicas y que, entre las mesorregiones, hay indicios de que el Sureste de Paraná necesita más atención en lo que se refiere a la infraestructura de sus escuelas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In this paper we investigated how school infrastructure is distributed in the public elementary and/or secondary schools of Paraná and which aspects need greater attention from public policy makers, since school infrastructure can influence student performance and, therefore, affect human capital and economic growth. We used microdata from the School Census for the years 2017 and 2019 as well as Factor Analysis. The results show that policies aimed at improving support structures, extracurricular activities and electronic equipment are needed. Despite their infrastructure development, rural schools still require greater attention from public policy makers. It seems that among the mesoregions, the Southeast of Paraná needs more support for school infrastructure.]]></p></abstract>
